The Naked Brothers Band (2007)
It's for kids, so let them be the judge
My nephew really loves this show, he waits excitedly all week to see a new episode. I've even watched it, and I don't think it's horrible like others are saying on here. It's a kids show, and we adults have to remember that, and not put it up against more adult shows. Don't you remember being a kid and loving programs that your parents considered corny? I hope this show is successful and stays on the air, especially for my nephew's sake. It's kind of like how as a kid I liked Full House and Clarissa Explains It All, sure many people would say how terrible those shows are, but as a kid they were very entertaining (not too mention clean, and without violence, which is hard to find these days) and watching them today still brings back good memories. So give this show a chance or at least let the kids give this show a chance.
Detention (1998)
Must See Movie.
I'm a big fan of The Breakfast Club. When i was reading the back of this movie at my local video store, i said cool, maybe it's like a remake. Dead Wrong! Although, i was expected the comedy of The Breakfast Club, but what i viewed was a truly aspect of reality. I do recommend for all of you to view this film. Its worth the 3-5 bucks you pay to rent it. Although, acting is not well portrayed, but the story line is what got to me.
Boys Don't Cry (1999)
This Boy Cried
I've followed this movie when I first heard of its making. I've viewed many other documentaries about "Teena Brandon/Brandon Teena." This movie is very well done with an excellent cast. I liked this movie because it showed (almost) the true story of Brandon/Teena. Although this movie is not supported by the family of Brandon/Teena, It's a insightful look into a person with a Sexual Identity Crisis. I didn't think Hilary Swank would be able to handle this role, I think i owe her an apology. This film may not have done well at the box office, but this is truly a story to remember.
The Thirteenth Year (1999)
Do Mermaids Exist????
This was a great movie about a boy (Cody) on his 13th birthday, discovers he is slowly turning into a MerMan!. Great casting, Excellent Story & Great special Effects!!! Great for Children and Adults. Featuring the "Full House" comedian Dave Coulier!
