Silent Hill (1999)
Horrifying
I have rented many games for my Playstation, and none of them have been like this. This is scarier than any movie. It's terrifying. I think the main aspect that makes it so scary is that it's silent most of the game. Just eerily silent. Not a sound. Then the monsters come and you can't see them. Another part of the game that's scary are the little zombies that kill you at the first. I've never finished this game, it was just too frightening. But try it out. It's a good scare.
Les Misérables (1998)
Beautiful
This is the most beautiful movie I've ever seen. This is the only version of Les Miserables I've seen. If you're planning on seeing this movie with insincere guys, I recommend you don't. It seems to have a strange effect on "airy" guys. The guys seemed to laugh at the sad parts, when Uma Thurman was going to resort to prostitution to pay rent and when she was harassed by men on the street. They also got a kick out of every time Claire Danes would cry. But it's so beautiful. It's also very sad. I found myself crying a lot. But I reccomend it anyways. The ending was good, I found myself happy.
All in the Family (1971)
The Best
This show couldn't have come at a more needed time. The show adressed issues that other shows didn't. They were big issues and very real. I think there was a strong concept with the point and counterpoint between Archie and Michael. Archie was a man who hated most people, if you were from another country, gay, a different race or religion, or in any extreme way different from him, he didn't like you. He was stubborn, and there was minor love shown for his wife and daughter. But I think that the way he minorly excepted Michael showed love for his daughter. Then there was Michael. Michael was a kind and real Atheist. He was nice to everyone and tried to be nice to Archie, but his ways annoyed Micheal greatly. They constantly argued. But on the subject of Archie, I think he showed more love when Joey (Michael and Gloria's son) was born. He really loved that baby. And so did Edith. Edith wasn't very quick, but she was sincere and kind. She cared about everyone. She was shy, and couldn't easily address the issue of sex. I think this show is wonderful, and would entertain a wide audience.
Breakout (1998)
Well, where do I start?
This has to be the cheesiest movie in the world. I mean in the first place I don't prefer many Canadian films. The karate thing was really tacky. The Larry guy from Wayne's World (it think it's this one) 2 (maybe) was the really bad guy. He looked like he had shaved eyebrows. I thought it was really funny when the guy with the white thing on his head, and the white guy (both bad)always fought over things. And the Joe guy was a cute little kid. But other than that, it was really awful.
Kiss of a Stranger (1998)
Very Interesting.
Nova, the star of the movie, has a show with her gay friend. They care a lot about each other. Also Nova has a popular singer mother. After a one night stand with a man who calls himself Nathan, whom Nova met at one of her mother's singing events, things turn ugly. Nova discovers she is pregnant, but after consoling with her ex-rocker, druggie father, she decides to keep the baby. Not the greatest, but worth seeing.
Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998)
So Bad!
This movie sucked. It seemed too short and retarded. Really there wasn't enough depth or scene change. But I'm happy Michael spared the people in the bathroom. A good thing about this movie, is that it took away my fears of HIM lurking in the darkness, under my bed, in my shadowy front yard, in the hall, in the shower, and terrorizing my dreams, which he had been doing for half a year. But knowing HIM, he'll be back to terrify Laurie "Keri" again someday, ya know he can survive through anything, (check out 1, 2, and 4!)!
Princess Caraboo (1994)
Delightful
This movie is delightful. It plays around with the concept of fairytales being lived, in a way. This movie is realy cute and I recommend you see it.
Without a Trace (1983)
So lovable, but depressing
This movie is so sad at times. At one point we really think we know who has done the crime and it involves horrible circumstances. I cried during this movie, almost as much as I did in Titanic. I cried in the ending the most.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
Where do I start?
I know this movie better than the back of my hand. This is the best movie in the world. I swear, I could play any part and know all my lines and everything. I know all the dance steps, the placements of the characters, the lines, the details on all the costumes. This movie is so cool. If you haven't seen this movie, rush to the video store right now and get it. This is a cult movie. But don't be thrown off by the title, some of my friends dodge this movie b/c of the word horror. But I promise it's not scary, it's just a fun, sing-a-long, comedy. GO SEE IT NOW!!!!
Gotcha! (1985)
It's Okay but...
I saw this movie about 2 years ago, i was bored and decided to watch it. I remember these young guys going to Paris or somewhere and the one played by Anthony Edwards was the star. He met some girl there and "fell in love" with her. Over all this movie was cheesy and stupid, and I recommend you save your time.
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
Great Ending!
First, I must say, Racheal was not Jaime's step-sister. She was her foster sister. Well, I think all will laugh at Racheal's caveman boyf, Brady. My friends and I call him "Monkey". Another funny element of this film are the drunken hillbillies who try to hunt down Michael. But when you get to the ending, you'll hit yourself and ask why you didn't realize that was going to happen before. The end is chilling and extremely surprising. I think all will like this movie.
