The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (1981)
I love this, but now i'm sad
Hitchhikers is my favourite series. I love it so much I even read the books. It just blew my mind, the complexity of it, and all the big words and theories, just fantastic. No matter how many times you've seen it, it is still fabulous. I always want to know where my towel is. Bye Douglas and thanks for all the fish.
Columbo: Fade in to Murder (1976)
My all time favourite
This is my all time favourite Columbo, and believe me I love them all. He is just the most clever little man I have ever seen, and the fact that it was Peter Falks own raincoat was brilliant. I love the way that he catches William Shatner, but I won't tell you how because it would spoil it if you haven't seen it. If you like Columbo watch this one again to capture the sheer brilliance of it, and if you haven't seen this one watch it for the same reason.
Saturn 3 (1980)
I Love This Film
This is one of my most favourite films. This film scared me out of my mind when I was little. I have always loved Kirk Douglas but to put him in a sci-fi is just fabulous. This is a great fear film, it has everything. Big scary robot, implants in the back of your neck and big vats of acid in the floor. Everyone should watch this film once to see how films should be made.
Space Cowboys (2000)
brilliant script, amazing actors, generally wow.
This has to be one of my all time favourite films. I wasn't sure what to expect. The acting had to be some of the best I've seen in a long time, but with four such amazing lead actors it was hard to believe it could be any other way. The story didn't let the film down either. It could have been so easy for them to have just put in four really well loved actors and then not bother with an exciting and heart wrenching storyline. This is a film which has every emotion flowing, one minute your laughing, the next your on the edge of your seat and can't believe what is happening. It is very rare to come out of the cinema and be blown away by a totally amazing film but this did it. I now have four films which impressed me in the cinema and I'm very pleased to add this one to my list.
Ghostbusters (1984)
amazing even now
This is the film I have seen most in the cinema. I saw it when it first came out and even now I would still go and watch it. I love this film, the story, the humour, the acting, it just has to be said, it is fantastic. What more can I say.
