Solo Leveling (2024– )

Absolutely tremendous

I can't express how much I enjoyed watching this.

How good is it from a critical standpoint? I am not an expert but it seems well written and as close to perfectly executed as I could imagine, in other words, what they tried to do, they slam-dunked it in my personal opinion, even the English voice acting (many say anime is always best with original dub and subtitles) sounded like they actually really tried and succeded in doing a fantastic job. There is so much to love about this, if you are not a gamer or into RPG style games you can unquestionably still enjoy this, it's that good, BUT, if, like me, you've been in MANY guilds and done many dungeons and raids/trials and understand 'progression' and stats and gear and leveling, then this surely has to be absolutely MIND blowing.

The 'FUN' I had watching this was next level (NO PUN) I was absolutely gutted when it ended, I want more!

The action was incredible and so visceral you could truly feel the desperation and fighting spirit. I am SO EXCITED for Season 2 - I just CAN'T WAIT!!

Arcane (2021– )

Utterly outstanding

Is it perfect? No, so why have I rated it a 10?

Because it is beyond amazing and people who don't know about it need to watch it.

One of the best and most brilliant, and also very sad, shows I have ever seen. Hardship, politics, and how it all affects different people different ways.

Jinx needs a lot of love

Art & Animation 9.5/10 - Audio 9/10 - Story 8/10 - Characters and character development 9/10 - Performances 8.5/10 - Jinx 9.99999999999/10.

Does anybody NOT love Ahsoka?

Rosario and the team did an outstanding job - not PERFECT, but still absolutely excellent (Award for the absolute GOLD STANDARD of animation to live action, goes to Henry Cavill as The Witcher - that being said Ahsoka is a FAR more complex and difficult character to bring to life)

Holy heck chill out? This wasn't such a bad movie, it was good fun and good action, I enjoyed it, REALLY hope there is a sequel but I imagine after all the negativity we won't get one. Shame. Loads of potential.

It's really not special but definitely not even close to as bad as people are making out and for sure worth a watch IF you like this sort of thing.

6.5/10 7/10 if you understand what you're getting. 4/10 if you're expecting Terminator 1984, or something....

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker (2019)

An insult to a legendary universe and it's characters.

As a film it's some light entertainment in a Star Wars theme. Had some fun moments and a few good scenes.

That's all you;re gonna get - the Star Wars world deserved better.

Just really enjoyed it. Great fun to watch with enjoyable characters and some GREAT action

Gal Gadot was basically brilliant in this role, IMO!
