Killing Eve: Don't Get Eaten (2022)
Bleh
Okay, so this is a little better than Episode one, but it's still way too contrived and bizarre at times. It seems to have turned into the lesbian and open relationship TV show. Violence mostly for the sake of violence and shock value. Overall, not a patch on Seasons 1, 2 and 3.
Killing Eve: Just Dunk Me (2022)
Awful
I loved Killing Eve but the new writers and director have literally Killed It. What a bizarre, inexplicable episode! I can only hope each episode gets better.
No Time to Die (2021)
Boring and predictable. The formula no longer works!
So much hype and yet so boring and predictable! How the Hell can they have so many people on this project and come up with a dud? Even the co-star couldn't speak French to save her life! Q is not believable and just seems to like pushing up his glasses all the time. Almost a total lack of humour too, apart from a few lame old jokes. Glad James Bond has gone. He had his day. Daniel Craig's acting deserves far better than this tripe!
Free Guy (2021)
Good, but disappointing too
I really hoped I'd be giving this movie a 9/10, but in all honesty I can not. I do accept that watching too many previews of it spoilt nearly all the elements of surprise (not that a lot of it wasn't predictable anyway). For me, the movie needed to 1 1/2 to twice as long. It sped through most scenes like the cutting-room editor hadn't checked who things looked in real time. What annoyed me most were the scenes and banter that were shown in the previews, but not also included the actual final edit of the movie. What struck me most was the long-distance view of Comer's "lifetime of virginity" conversation with Ryan, when the close-up of this in one of the previews was perfection. Whoever decided to do that has no idea about audience empathy and laughter. Anyway, I found it watchable to very good in parts, but mostly meh (in other words, I knew this movie couldn't been far better for the most part).
