The Black Phone (2021)
Finney Didn't Actually Need The Ghosts To Create His Escape Plan
Finney is in The Grabber's basement for several days with little to do but inspect the place and try to formulate escape plans
Each ghost introduces a new secret about the basement room that later comes into play during Finney's revenge on The Grabber. However, it's worth note that Finney is obviously a bright young man and very resourceful from the start of the film.
The calls he got from the ghosts during the positively reviewed Black Phone could easily just be Finney mentally externalizing the thought processes his incredibly worried mind was going through, including the one that told him that going upstairs was a bad idea.
Resident Evil (2022)
Past & present moment mix up
Despite the series does not related to the original RE, it is still watchable. The series has too many back to back flash back moment scene from the past mix with the current present scene every 10-15 minutes which i felt unnecessary. I believe viewers prefer to see the current present scene more. The only part i do enjoy watching is to see some monster / creature featured in the series so far.
The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021)
Its ok to be part of a weird family.
Full of fun conedy.
It does brings joy & laughter watching this family journey.
The dog is the definitely Man of the match of this movie.
Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020)
Enjoyable magical vibe movie t
The only thing i didn't expect from this movie is, there is less confrontation between Mr Jangle & his former assistant. As an adult watching this kid's vibe magical movie, it still gives me some good time & moment to enjoy this movie until the end.
I did not expect much but i would love to see more what Buddy 3000 can offer for the whole movie besides believing in yourself for it to be alive.
The Queen's Gambit (2020)
Mr Shaibel the main role
He did deserve more. But having never received it, made for a very emotional, powerful scene when Beth returned. That scene and that emotion would not have been possible if Mr. Shaibel had gotten what he deserved throughout the series. There were a few simple but powerful scenes with Mr. Shaibel that hit me really hard. When young Beth begged him to help her after she was punished and he couldn't even respond to her because he was so ashamed he didn't have the power to help her. When she drove away in the car after being adopted and he couldn't even wave goodbye to her... you could literally feel his grief without him even saying a word. When she walked down to the basement to see his old room and looked down at the table where he first taught her to play, that was hard enough. But when she looked over at the clippings he kept on his wall of her... that was just too much. Hard to keep your eyes dry watching that scene. This story was written with the purpose of having the reader or watcher, identify with Beth. But I think for a lot of us, we identified with Mr. Shaibel.
100 Humans (2020)
Trying to obsorb some good part
Wondering if this series are trying to be some sort of comedy type with actual real life experiment or they just did it badly for the whole series
I know its just acting but they could make it better by bringing different "experts" during the discussions for the experiment that they have done. When i realise the same people being the experts in different "expertise" everytime the host meet them, i was like ... whattttt
Come on, u loose faith on your viewers
Although alot of things gone wrong in this series. I still can watch the entire episodes & obsorb it. Not really the worst i have watched but the series should not be rate low as 1/10
