Ahsoka: Part Four: Fallen Jedi (2023)
Season 1, Episode 4
5/10
Why is the rating so high?
11 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I was waiting for a moment to have a clear mind to watch this episode and alread heart it should be gresr. So i wanted to take my time and yeah, i admit the expectations were high.

But i am totallly dissappointed.

What was this?

And why is this episode rated 8.9? I really don't understand it.

There were more plot holes than Ob the Obi Wan series when Obi Wan escaped, with Leia under his cape, from the main space station of the Empire....

  • Ahsoka leaving Sabine alone in a fight against a trained enemy. She just had to walk 5 meters and end the fight in 2 seconds as a Team
  • Baylan waits ALONE for Ahsoka insted of protecting the map with about 200 soldiers
  • Ahsoka fighting like a noob against Baylan
  • Hera taking her civilian child on a totally dangerous Mission

And what angers me the most: SABINE risking WAR in giving Baylan back the map and let him find THRAEN because IT MIGHT BE that Ezra could be alive? Ahsoka would never train such a stupid child (for the second time).

And the ending: Jacen Syndulla really got a BAD FEELING about all this??

I mean come on...this is eben worse than Episode 9.

Sorry i really wanted to be happy but this episode was not good.

Just no...

Text: I saw the trailer and thought: oh please not another Godzilla.

But i gave it a chance regarding it was not Hollywood alone and norwegian creators also worked on it. But i was right like EVERY monster movie: Big Monster comes out of nowhere, we don't know it, it does nothing. Ok let'sblast it away. And then: It gets angry. The government behaves like total idiots and every person from prime minister to war chief is just stupid as hell.

Just whyyyyyyyy? We saw this a hundred times now and i'm sick of this plot. The only difference: It plays not in the US and it's scandinavian mythology.

Who on earth really needs another movie like this? Let's think about doing it different and pretend the characters life in a world where movies like Godzilla, King Kong etc. Exist and they learn from it.

And yeah sure: A happy end, monster death and family drama.

Go away with this.

Summary: Just no.

Just confused

Where did all the money went?

There is nothing except of the brand "Lord of the Rings" which keeps me watching this series.

I am just hoping that it will get better because 1)i know that the books are historical pieces of art and magical 2) Peter Jackson made the best book adaption ever. A dream to watch and still something that brings me to tears.

3) the first season cost 500 million dollar

The series is "ok". But ok is not enough for this content. Because we know what is possible in the Tolkien Universe.

The characters are poorly written and we see no emotions. The logic holes are as big as whole middle earth, the filming and lighting reminds more of a cheap B movie.

I don't know. It's a huge dissapointment.

And i really was totally positive at the start telling my friends "yeah keep calm, the pacing is perfect, Tolkien storys take their time".

But right now i have to admit i was wrong.

The pacing is slow and the dialogues are just pointless.

Sad.

Andor (2022– )

I was so wrong....
6 October 2022
Sometimes we have to admit mistakes. And below is mine.

My judgement after watching about 4 episode was just wrong. I was too early. At the end i totally loved it, had goosebumps and a real Star Wars feeling. Storytelling, acting, dialogues, music, atmosphere had improved during the whole show and ended in "Marvas speech". Thank you!!!!

And now read my first critic (5/10):

The story between Episode 1 to Episode 6 is told.

We don't need more content in this area.

We need more of the original soul of Star Wars, something that hasn't been told many times before in different ways.

Rebels, Resistance, Bad Batch, Clone Wars, Rogue One, Solo, Boba Fett, Mandalorian, Obi Wan - we know what happens.

And Andor hits the same tone. We know that people had to struggle in the time of the Empire and we know that there were undercover agents and we know that the Rebels operated in the shadows.

And we know how the story will end. With the death of the emperor and the end of the Empire. Episode 7-9 never happened.

I don't want a series of every character that was in this era. I want something new which we haven't seen.

Andor is solid with ups and downs. The acting is good and the atmosphere is dark. That's it. But it bores me cause it's predictable.

But please Disney and George give us creative storylines.

The final fight ruined it
7 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Harry and Tom shouldn't be alone at the end. They should've talked, they should've been in a crowd surrounded by witches, friends and enemys. A conversation of all that was in Harrys mind and the explaination why Tom was wrong.

But no, Hollywood needed to make a "battle" outside of the castle between Harry and Tom alone with fancy music, lights and screams from both of them.

Please no!

Why ruin a great writing?

The silence from the books was the perfect end to the Saga and there was no use to change it.

The last scene alone and the poor execution and not following the books ruined this movie for me.

Looking back in 2022 i like to compare it to the end of Game of Thrones. Just dissapppintment.

It was sad.

And i'm happy that i got the experience from the book and know how the story of Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort really ended.

Just good and funny
4 August 2022
Cinematography is good. Lot of action and the acting is quite good for a ironic "superhero" movie and i really liked watching it. Funny and entertaining.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is bad. Why?

  • you can't see this movie on it's on like some reviews say. It's a the end of a trilogy, or even more the end of 9 movies
  • Plot holes
  • the story is just based on coincidence
  • it's selled as a trilogy, but all 3 parts have nothing to do with each other
  • no character development
  • wasting of basically good character stroylines (Finn, Poe)
  • destryoing of an army of 100 overpowered battleships just with coincidence
  • a dagger which is just found in the dessert just with coincidence and leads the to a pathfinder just with coincidence
  • "somehow Palpatine has returned"
  • the storyline of Palpatine was closed. Brought him as a totally overpowered and immortal being which has planned everything around him for decades - just to kill him 5 minutes later
  • lazy writing

2 points because of pity for the actors.

The Godfather (1972)
7/10
Not sure
13 June 2022
I must admit, i've never watched the Godfather until now (1 month ago) and as a movie fan i always was ashamed about this. Now i've seen it and might have an unpopular opinion about it.

The acting is quite good and the actors also became legends of the Business. The love to little Details is good.

But i never get into it.

The plot is ok but i wanted more.

I wanted to go deeper into the "why" and what characters like Michael really think. Why they behave like they do.

They just "looked" and there was silence.

I always was waiting for the catchy moment which will make me feel in love with this so called "masterpiece". But it didn't happened and i watched it in 3 parts because i was nearly "bored".

I was neither surprised about twists, not emotional and not catched by the story. It was just there.

The characters are all not so relatable, i didn't felt their feelings.

Like robots. You can change theme and you wouldn't even recognize it. If person A,B,C or D gets murdered it doesn't matter.

For me: Yes, you can watch it, but for me it is not the masterpiece it should be regarding the reviews.

I still need to watch Part 2 and 3. I have it on my list since 1 month, but i didn't do it...that says a lot for myself.

Great Movie - compared to the whole Saga
13 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is really a great pieceof art.

I'm so confused that the rating of "The Force Awakens" is higher than this movie.

Revenge of the Sith indcludes politics, the end of character development, twists, good choreography, heart wrenching moments (order 66, Obi vs. Anakin) and a final conclusion to a story which was build up, had a logig and is tragic.

No happy end, just that what it is - the Jedi are nearly gone, Padme and Major characters die and the sith took over.

All that is missing in Episode VII - IX.

The slogan says "The Saga is complete" - yes, true words!

Great work.
