In "The Village," M. Night Shyamalan delivers a cinematic experience that is both visually captivating and emotionally engaging. This film stands out for its masterful direction and production, marked by Shyamalan's unique storytelling style. The cinematography is exceptional, with each shot meticulously crafted to enhance the eerie and suspenseful atmosphere of the film. The setting, a secluded 19th-century village surrounded by an ominous forest, adds a layer of intrigue and mystique, perfectly complementing the film's mood. The acting in "The Village" is, without a doubt, top-notch. The ensemble cast, led by notable actors like Joaquin Phoenix, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Adrien Brody, delivers powerful performances that bring depth and authenticity to their characters. Their ability to convey the complex emotions and tensions within the village is commendable and plays a crucial role in immersing the audience in the film's narrative.

Deserves an 8/10. Surprised it only got 6.6/10.

Dark Horse for Top 10 Show of All Time
11 June 2022
Season 4 so far has cemented this series as a real contender for top 10 tv show of all time. Really enjoyable series so far, the Duffer brothers deliver every season. Season 4 (part 1) is so entailing and thrilling. I love how they didn't hold back on the gruesome deaths. I also love how all the characters are all split up into little groups on different missions, it makes for exciting viewing as the scenes cut from one group to the other. Flawless season so far with a nice hidden twist at the end. Such a unique show.
