Sky High (1990)
"Route 66" with a biplane instead of a Corvette
This television drama was shot as a three part pilot for a series. The characters started okay but the scripts went lame and it flopped. The idea of a "Route 66" via a bi-plane episodic was clever but other than James Whitmore, the cast was weak in my opinion. It was shot in various locations in British Columbia with a working title of "Wings".
Anything to Survive (1990)
Worth watching more than once!
Based on a true story, this television drama was filmed along Canada's west coast, in winter. The cast and crew worked in icy waters and freezing rain. It was a miserable "shoot" but so was the horror of the real people involved. You will notice a very young and green Matt Leblanc in a roll years before "Friends". Robert Conrad was very strong and real...a true professional.

Glory Days (1990)
Brad Pitt in his youth
The pilot for this series was better than any of the episodes due to a truly stellar performance by Brad Pitt. Unfortunately, some other castings were so much weaker, the series was doomed in my opinion. The working title for the pilot was "The Kids Are Alright". It was shot in Vancouver, B.C. Canada
