Oppenheimer (2023)
Great movie, great acting, for the history
Big fan of Christopher Nolan, and can't say I'm disappointed, delivers as usual. This story really took its time but makes up for it with great visuals and sound effects.
The acting is great with many big name's, almost everyone on their A-game. I must say the energy between the actors really brings up the show obviously because of great directing, performance, and writing, but the synergy and emotion between the characters makes this story entertaining, not only does it make the ups and lows of the characters feel deeper and emotional but also makes the story, the arc more entertaining, profound, and real.
Overall one of my new favourite Nolan movies, does though still not top dark night and personal preference Tenet!
Loki: Science/Fiction (2023)
Makes you think
So ep. 4 was great now everyone is wondering, what's gonna happen. The mystery is unraveling, and things start to come full circle. Ep. 5 takes ep 4 and professes the plot in a perfect way by fiddling with the main theme time.
It is so entertaining when a show, really puts focus on the underlying messages of the story by not telling them directly and at the same time, makes you the connecter of all the little things in the story instead of just telling us. It follows the old saying don't tell it show it.
Can't describe this episode better, perfectly cut by now telling us everything we have already seen or been told. Instead the ep. Progresses the story, keeps pace, and lets the audience fill in the rest.
I was speechless the first 5 min after this episode!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)
ROCKET SCREAM
This film was brutal and I have never seen a movie with such big emotion. I rated the movie 9 because I always believe a movie can be better but I have never been so emotionally invested in a movie as I was with this. The emotion it has sets this film apart, cgi, plot, etc. All what you can expect from a 250 mil. Movie.
When I say "what you can expect" I mean, what you should expect when seeing those movies it has to be beautiful and very well made, which it was!
But as I said before the emotion in this movie is the one thing that makes I better than most movies out there.
But man I will just leave it at Rocket Screaming is the most hurt I have ever seen anyone build up to and display in such a way.
Astonishing film
Round of applause's.
The Batman (2022)
Cinematography is astonishing
The Batman is a film that does every thing right when it comes to editing and cinematography. It completely blew my mind, I Will compare the whole movie to Zack Snyders justice league where in the end the flash runs back in time.
Robert plays the characters very well though I wouldn't mind seeing more of Bruce Wayne in the next film. The movie focuses on the Batman side of the protagonist, meaning the screen time for Bruce Wayne wasn't there for Robert. He played Batman very well and I liked how he was portrayed as utterly violent but merciful.
The only critic thing I have to give this film is how the ending of sequences was handled. It became somewhat difficult to feel part of the movie in those ending of sequences. Still this meant that the sequences themselves was highlighted as the masterpieces they are. The scene where the bat-car is being revealed puts you right at the edge of your seat, but at the end of the revealing of the car it only launches forward a bit to trig oz to flee but why not make oz flee on his own and then complete the revealing of the bat-car launching after oz in complete diesel rage. It just seems as if the writing didn't match the cinematography plan for the scene. But that could just be me with a "hot take".
I highly recommend people to watch it themselves and also please experience it in cinema because the cinematography and editing is astonishing!
Extraction (2020)
Action is good but copied
The whole plot of the story seems very poorly done but there is some good things in this movie.
The actionscenes are very good but only because they have been copied from movies such as John Wick and 1917.
The whole idea with the camera not stopping and doing scenes without cuts is very creative and would be good if it was new but it isn't.
The movie 1917 was build on this.
Another copi-scene is when Roja reloads his gun while holding down an enemy to kill him. This fighting scene was clearly taken from John Wick.
There are some other examples in the movie but these was the most obvious i found.
Other than that, the movies fighting scenes are great, but i don't think they fought of all these fighting moves by themselves.
Still fun to see John Wick scenes done by someone else.
But really i wouldn't call it a perspectivation when you copi every single detail hence the reloading gun scene.
Sex Education (2019)
Have to say i disagree with other on season 2
The series has overall been very good. some say that season 2 has not delivered at all but it's only because they are impatient i remember watching Game Of Thrones and thinking it was a boring series but efter season 2 and 3 the series became very succesful.
I think sex education will deliver the fans what they are promised by that i mean Otis and Maeve getting together. The writers were right not to let them get together in season 2 it would just have been rushed like think about how the character in the wheelchair would completely die out.
Not to say that the fans have gotten a lot of love stories that ends well with season 2. So be patient every series have to be build up slowly and explained in depth.
How I Met Your Mother: Last Forever: Part Two (2014)
The way life goes
The ending was perfect it shows how ted met his childrens mother and not Further.
The character development was perfect the way barney finally settled down was good and not the way you thought it would be.
Marshall and Lilly finally found an answer to their big question on how to live a parenting life with friends in it.
I think people are wrong about it being disappointing because they wanted the happy ending with barney and robin being together.
But the show has a great message about how life never turns out as you think it will and that's why they let tracy die.
Love is not something you just turn off and that's why the series started with Robin and ted dating and after all those years they finally got each other.
it was a happy ending and i think it was the right one
