Left Behind (2014)
Crazy Christians
Why in the short 20 or so minutes I had this film on was every Christian treated like a nut job or something they where ashamed of being. This is suppose to be a Christian movie and no one in it seemed to want to be one or if they where one the movie and the other characters would treat them as if they are loony. What kind of Christian movie is that?
Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling (2019)
Exceeded all expectations
I used to watch rocko as a kid and when this popped up on netflix I was excited but skeptical at how much I would really like it as an adult. Also all I remember is watching it as a kid I didn't remember any of the characters except kind of remembering what rocko looked like nor did I really remember much about the show at all. So I put it on half expecting to turn off a little way in when it got to be to Kiddish. Spoiler alert it didn't I actually was amazed how deep the jokes went and how well done the satire was for a show that I thought was going to be for kids. The special breaks the fourth wall all threw it. Well done left me hoping that means they might be doing a reboot of the series. Thank you all who worked on this for you made my day and put a smile on my face and laughter in my heart. Your the best.
Apostasy (2017)
Disappointed
From the trailer it seem like it was going to be one of these where a person fights aganist the rules of their religon. I mean you did have some of that but it was told from the central view of the religon itself and not from the perspective of the person who turned away. Which going into this is what I thought it would be. It is not. It is very much a jehovah's witness center movie and a movie very much about the church not about the rebellion against it. It was very good for what it was just was not what the trailer led it to be. Also kind of a slow movie which worked for it but just warning those who may be put off by that.
Star Trek: The Counter-Clock Incident (1974)
Dumb ending
The main reason I'm writing this review it's for the decision made at the end where it supposed to be Noble that the guy chose to go back to his original age of 75 because he had lived such a good and fulfilling life. But I thought if I was given a second chance to be young again I wouldn't want to redo the life that I did I would want to make a sequel to the life I already did and live so well. But instead of doing that he goes and and him and his wife get old again. Dumb.
Also the science in this is ridiculous. I mean unless time in the reverse Universe went faster than time in our universe how would they have turned your children so quickly? Unless they were in the reverse Universe for years that would have never happened or in less than reversed Universe win at a faster time backwards then our universe does going forward. I mean I could see the whole thing being a matter of months before they got out but not years or decades that would have then required for them to revert to Children since most of them were several decades old.
