Spectacular

Memoirs of a Geisha is an honest and stunning film captivating the secret world of a Japanese escort. A world that is rife with envy, greed, agony and yearning beyond belief. Zhang Ziyi's acting succeeds in breaking your heart bit by bit, one sorrow after another, never letting up her fervor. The plot is an oscillation of glory and of shame, of gain and of loss. The technical elements never failed to amaze me. Everything from the costumes to the lighting was unblemished in quality. Script writing and adaptation were flawless, controversial, and intelligent. I have never seen such a real portrayal. I really suggest you watch and enjoy this film.

Perfect

There is nothing like seeing one timeless classic morph into a film, where characters are more real to you then ever before. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is the first of several films to be produced by Mark Johnson based on C.S. Lewis's wonderful series. The acting in this film was nothing but amazing, as the young actors played their parts with brilliance. The film is a perfect blend of action, anticipation, sorrow and joy all fit into a wonderfully complete plot line, topped off with a heart felt ending. It captivates its audiences from beginning to end. The adaptation was wonderful, and this film will forever be immortal.

Mediocre

Warning: Spoilers
The true story of Anne Sullivan, the teacher of Helen Keller, and her struggles to teach a deaf, mute, and blind girl. Set in the south on an Alabama tobacco plantation the story combines elements of family life, psychology and persistence. The movie teaches not to pity or treat someone as a lesser because of a handicap. The acting was good. The script writing however was mediocre and lacked elements of excitement. The plot line at times became uninteresting, but the ending was dramatic and captivating. I found this movie to be of mediocre quality. I would not consider the movie extremely entertaining, but would suggest watching it to learn more about Helen Keller.
