Dances with Wolves (1990)
One of the most epic Western Movies in Cinematic History!
In anticipation of Horizon: An American Saga: Chapter 1 & 2 (2024), I decided to watch the three movies directed by Kevin Costner and I'm starting off with Dances with Wolves (1990). I watched the 4-hour extended version of this movie and it was epic.
Dances with Wolves (1990) is truly a epic story in every way possible. The acting from everyone is top-notch. There are a lot of people who've I never seen in any movie and I was impressed with how well each character was flesh-out in the story. Granted, the story is one that I've seen before in James Cameron's Avatar Movies even though this movie come out years bmafter this movie. I will say that this movie didn't need to be 4-hours long, but I will give Mr. Costner credit for releasing the extended version just to show everything that he wanted to use to see. Overall, Dances with Wolves (1990) is one of the greatest movies of all time and I totally understand why some people are copying it's story because it is that damn good.
The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024)
It's literally the same movie from 2008.
When I first heard about this movie, I was actually little happy to see another Strangers Movie. Also, the movie was going to be directed by Renny Harlin, who I have a very complicated relationship with. While I like the first Strangers (2008) a lot even if I don't see it as an instant classiclike others. Prey at Night (2018), on the other hand, is an instant classic for me. So, I watch Chapter 1 and I was massively disappointed by this movie. I'll will be giving out minor spoilers for my negatives of this movie.
Positives for The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024): The movie is well shot for the most part. The Stranger Characters are still cool antagonists and intimidating for this franchise. Finally, the lead performances from both Ryan Bown and Madelaine Petsch were decent enough. 2024 is shaping up to be a good year for a lot of the former Riverdale actors with Camilla Mendes in Upgraded, Cole Sprouse in Lisa Frankenstein, Madelaine Petsch in this movie and the jury is out for both K. J. Apa and Lili Reinhart.
Negatives for The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024):
The screenplay of The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024) is literally the same plot of the first movie from 2008. The only differences in this movie is the setting and the couple in this movie are happy. Everything else in this movie is exactly the same as the 2008 film. The town folks in this forest are way too hostile towards the main characters to the point where it feels like they're friends with Scarecrow, Dollface and Pin-Up Girl. The main couple in this movie are some of the most infuriating characters I've ever seen in a horror movie to the point where I find them even more infuriating than Scott Speedman and Liv Tyler in the original film. There are several times where they have the chance to kill one of the Strangers, but they don't actually kill them.
Overall, The Strangers: Chapter 1 (2024) is a horrible start to this Strangers Trilogy and I hope that Chapters 2 and 3 are better than this first chapter, because this movie was awful.
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017)
What a cinematic masterpiece!
War for the Planet of the Apes (2017) is one of the greatest movies in cinematic history. Everything about this movie is simple perfect. The motion-capture in this movie is best that it's ever been in these modern Planet of the Apes Movies. The performances are all top-notch, especially Andy Serkis as Caesar. I'm still upset that Andy Serkis wasn't given any sort of recognition by the Academy for his performance in Rise, Dawn or War. Caesar is hands down the greatest movie character in the 2010s as well as one of the greatest movie characters in cinematic history. There is a small storyline involving a gorilla named Luca and a little girl that was both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. The character of Bad Ape played Steve Zahn is another huge highlight of the movie, he's one of the very few comedic relief characters that actually inserts humor at the right time when it's necessary to cut the tension of the story. Overall, there's nothing else I can say that others haven't said about this movie, but all I will say is if you haven't seen War for the Planet of the Apes, then you're doing something wrong with your life.
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)
You are not ape!
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) is not only one of the best Planet of the Apes Movies, it is one of the greatest movies in cinematic history. The motion-capture for the apes is absolutely phenomenal, it's even better than Rise. The performances from the cast are spectacular, specifically Andy Serkis as Caesar and Toby Kebbell as Koba. Koba is one of the most compelling villains in cinematic history where you can understand and sympathize with his reasons for not trusting humans, up yet he tries to murder Caesar and that's where you know he must be stopped at all cost. Caesar continues to prove why he's a perfect protagonist for any movie. There are two scenes where Caesar is in am old abandoned house and the Andy Serkis is able to bring out a lot of emotion through his facial expressions is flawless. The final battle between Caesar and Koba is one of the greatest final battles in cinematic history. Basically, what I'm trying to say is I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!!!
Turtles All the Way Down (2024)
What a gut wrenching experience!
First of all, I've never read the book that this movie was based on, jst saw trailer on YouTube and I saw that Isabela Merced was in, so I decided to give it a watch. This movie is one of the most gut wrenching experience I've ever seen in a long time.
The way it tackles these subjects is very raw and heartbreaking to watch on screen and I'm someone who doesn't worry about germs or has OCD, but that doesn't matters to me, what matters to me is how they executed it. Isabela Merced's performance in this movie is absolutely career-defining and this is only the beginning for this woman's career.
Overall, Turtles All the Way Down (2024) is definitely a movie that not going to be for everyone, but it's definitely a movie that people need to watch a least once, because man it really hits you hard.
Planet of the Apes (2001)
What is up with that ending?
I heard a lot of things about this remake, most specifically the ending, but I had never watched it in its entirety. I watched it a week before Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and I am completely baffled by a lot of things in this movie.
Positives for Planet of the Apes (2001):
The Apes make-up effects by Rock Baker are phenomenal and it's the one effect of this remake that is better than the original. That's it for positives.
Negatives for Planet of the Apes (2001):
The fact this movie was directed by Tim Burton is baffling, because it doesn't feel or look like a Tim Burton Movie. Mark Wahlberg as Leo Davidson is one of the most boring protagonists I've ever seen in a movie. Tim Roth as General Thade is intimidating at times, but he acts overacts too much in the movie. Also, the Apes jumping 30 feets in the air is way too goofy. Finally, the ending to this movie is the worst endings I've ever seen in any movie. There is nothing about this ending that makes any logical sense whatsoever.
Overall, Planet of the Apes (2001) is a remake that didn't have much going for it to begin with, but it's completely destroyed by have the absolute worst movie ending I've ever seen in my life.
Planet of the Apes (1968)
It was an instant classic in 1968 and it's an instant classic in 2024.
A month ago, I had decided to watch the original 1968 film in anticipation of watch Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and I was very impressed by how much of this movie has aged very well since 1968. I live the fact that they shot this movie at actual locations not on sound stages. The ape makeup effects are spectacular for their time, but there are certain points in the movie where it does looks a little bit dated. The performances by Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall, Kim Hunter and Maurice Evans are all phenomenal. The twist ending is mind-blowing and I love how simple it is in the execution. Overall, Planet of the Apes (1968) is an instant classic in cinema and I definitely understand why it became one of the first major multiple media franchises.
Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (2024)
WHY?
After watching that atrocious trailer back in March for this remake, I decided to watch the original 1991 film and I waited for two months for this remake to come out, just so I could rip it to shreds. Just today, I've seen the remake and I'm just baffled by this movie. Just to warn you, I will be spoiling this movie with my negatives.
Positives for Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (2024):
The remake did give me the motivation to watch the original 1991 film and I really enjoyed it. Also, Simone Joy Jones as Tanya was decent, she was the only character that I cared about and she's the only one to have some form of maturity by the end of the movie. Finally, the main relationship between Tanya and Bryan was done very well and I was invested in their relationship. That's it for the positives for this movie and now it's time for the negatives and spoilers for this movie.
SPOILER WARNINING!!!!!
Negatives for Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (2024):
This movie's plot is literally the same as in the original, the only difference in this remake is the main characters are black. The jokes in this movie are some of the most tone-deaf and worst race-focused humor that I've seen in a movie. You have Ms. Sturak who dies after the first night of her job and the main characters dump her body in a lake, because they said if they called an ambulance for her the white cops were going to shoot them on site cause they're not going to believe they live in a house. Okay first of all, police brutality against black people is definitely a problem nowadays, but the fact that you used it as a pathetic excuse for dark comedy, Screw you! At the beginning of this movie, Ms. Sturak fires a starter pistol in the air and literally says, "I've watched Madea Movies, I know how to discipline you little N-Words.", and by the way she doesn't say the actual word. That's another issue with this movie, this movie was advertised as a new R-Rated Version of the original 1991 film and with the exception of using the N-Word at the end of this movie, there's nothing Rated-R about this movie. All of the memorable and icon lines of dialogue from the original are literally in this movie without any energy, personality or impact from the original. Also, Nicole Richie as Rose was unbearably bland and wooden throughout the entire movie. Finally, there are cameos by Danielle Harris and Joanna Cassidy in this movie and both of them are pointless.
Overall, I have no idea why they chose to remake Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, because I don't even think there's a lot of people who even know about the original. Also, the fact it was Rated-R is for reasons I will never understand for the rest of my life. All I will say is go watch the original 1991 film, because that movie at least has heart and personality attach to it. This remake will definitely be remembered as one of the most pointless and worst remakes that I've ever seen in my life.
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987)
See you later, alligator!
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987) is one of the most batshit crazy horror movies I've ever seen in my life and I loved it. This movie gave everything that I never thought I need in a sequel to Prom Night (1980). The character of Mary Lou is one of the most insane horror villains in the genre and I'm shocked that no one talks about her more in the Horror Community. The kills in this movie are insane, particularly the one in the Girl's Locker Room. The performance by Wendy Lyon was amazing as she first starts off as the shy timid high school girls, which is odd given how beautiful she is, then she goes full Mary Lou in the second half of the movie and she kills it as the villain. Overall, of you haven't seen Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987), you are doing yourself a great disservice by not experiencing this instant classic of the Horror Genre. GO OUT, WATCH IT AND BUY IT!!!!!
Anyone But You (2023)
GREATEST ROM-COM EVER!!!!!
When I first heard about this movie back at the end of 2023, I didn't have any interest in watching it. At that point, I had only known Glen Powell as Hangman from Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and I still didn't know who Sydney Sweeney was. But, when I heard that people enjoyed this and heard about it's box office success, I got little curious to see it. So, I watched the movie back in January and I loved it. I loved it so much that I've watched it like 50 times in the past 5 months.
Anyone But You (2023) is the perfect romantic comedy in every way possible. Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell have phenomenal chemistry with each other and I bought into their relationship in the movie. I also appreciated the the fact that this Rom-Com was Rated-R, because I'm so tired of a lot of movies being the same old safe PG-13. Now, it's only Rated-R for the language only, but there is one scene that definitely is worth the rating. I was laughing and smiling throughout the movie and that's something that I can't say for a lot of Romantic Comedies.
Overall, Anyone But You (2023) is officially my favorite Romantic Comedy of all time and I 'm so happy for the movie's success and I do hope that this is the beginning of the Rom-Com Renaissance.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
What a day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!!!!
Prior to this review, I had never seen any of the Mad Max Movies, but with Furiosa coming out next week, I decided to finally watch all of the Mad Max Movies. I enjoyed the three Mad Max Movies with The Road Warrior being my favorite and Beyond Thunderdome being my least favorite, while still having some fun of it. Now that road has led me to Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and I'm just gonna say it, Fury Road is not only the best Mad Max Movie, but it is one of the greatest movies ever made. This movie is a prime example on how to an established and beloved franchise from the 70s, 80s and 90s into the 21st Century perfectly.
First of all, the action and stunt work is the best that it's ever been and that's saying a lot given the fact that all four of these movies were written and directed by George Miller. This is a 2-hour movie where for the entire runtime it's just non-stop kick-ass action chase sequence and Miller pulls it off perfectly. The performances are all top-notch, there is not one person who isn't delivering off the top of their talent, but the standouts are of course Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron as Max Rockatansky and Imperator Furiosa respectively. Now as much as I did enjoy Mel Gibson as Max, Tom Hardy just takes this character to a whole new level to the point where I prefer Hardy ocer Gibson. The thing that makes Hardy's version of Max stand out is the fact that for almost the entire first hour of the movie, he has no dialogue and yet Hardy is able to bring out a lot of emotion throughout that first hour with his actions and eyes. Now, let's talk about Charlize Theron as Imperator Furiosa, this character is given so much emotion throughout her mission and journey back to her home to the point where I understand why they're doing a prequel to explore this character's backstory with Anya Taylor-Joy this year. Also, Furiosa is the prime example on how to do a strong female character properly.
Overall, if you haven't seen Fury Road or any of the other Mad Max Movies in general, then what are you doing with your life, you need to watch these movies as soon as possible. Fury Road is not only an absolute instant classic of the action genre, but it is God-Tier Cinema at its finest.
Abigail (2024)
Vampire Horror Movies are BACK!!!!!
When this movie was first announced, I was excited to see it because I've been a fan of a lot of the movies made by Radio Silence. Also, cast included people like Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Giancarlo Esposito, Kevin Durand and Angus Cloud (RIP). When, it was revealed that this was going to be a Vampire Movie, I got even more excited to see this movie. After watching this movie multiple times, I can easily say that Abigail (2024) is my favorite Horror Movie of 2024 so far and it's easily Radio Silence's best movie to date.
Abigail (2024) gave me what I wanted from a Vampire Horror Movie, especially as a fan of The Lost Boys (1987). This movie does a fantastic job at balancing the horror and comedy perfectly. I really enjoyed all of the characters, even though they are all terrible people, the filmmakers did a great job at making you care about them.
Overall, if you enjoy Vampire Horror Movies, then you will definitely enjoy Abigail and I has me very excited to what these actors and Radio Silence do in the future.
X-Men '97 (2024)
Congratulations Disney and Marvel, you finally did it!
Prior to watching this Series, I didn't watch the original X-Men Animated Series. Even though I do consider myself a huge fan of the X-Men, I had no interest in watching that original animated series, but when Disney and Marvel announced that they were going to do a direct sequel to that show, I decided to watched the original animated series in its entirety. After watching that show, I was even more excited for this series, because I loved every minute of the original animated series.
I enjoyed watching every minute of this show week-to-week. This show gave me and other fans of the original X-Men Animated Series that we wanted and more. X-Men '97 is hands down the best Disney+ Original Series to date. I was genuinely very impressed with how they were able to recapture the heart and spirit of the original animated series. The Finale was phenomenal and I can't wait to see what they do with Season 2.
Overall, of you are a fan of the original X-Men Animated Series from the 90s, you will most certainly enjoy what Disney and Marvel do with X-Men '97.
Biohazard 4 (2005)
GREATEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME!!!!!
I got this game for Christmas and after playing it multiple times, Resident Evil 4 is easily my favorite video game of all time. This is the game that I've beaten the most times and I love it with every single campaign. Leon S. Kennedy is the greatest video game protagonist of all time, he just oozes with charisma from start to finish. The variety of weapons are awesome and I loved using each of them. The boss fights are so badass and intense, my favorite boss fights are Chief Menendes, U-3 and Jack Crowser. I will say that Ashley was annoying at points during the campaign, but I don't despise her on the level that other people do. Overall, Resident Evil 4 (2005) is a God Tier Video Game in every way possible.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024)
Apes Franchise still strong!
Prior to watching this movie, I had never seen a Planet of the Apes Movie with the exception to Rise, so before watching this movie, I decided to watch all of the Planet of the Apes Movies and I enjoyed a lot of the movies to with the exceptions of both Battle and the 2001 Tim Burton Remake, while my personal favorites are both Dawn and War.
Just finished watching Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) earlier today and while it's not on the level of greatness like Dawn and War, Kingdom is easily my 3rd favorite entry in the Planet of the Apes Franchise. The CGI for the apes is still phenomenal much like the previous Trilogy and the emotional moments of this franchise are also still intact. I will say that I wasn't into these new set of characters like I was with the previous entries, especially Caesar and Koba. However, once we get a new entry into this franchise, I will definitely more invested with these new characters.
Overall, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024) is yet another excellent entry into this modern Planet of the Apes Franchise and I can't wait to see how they will continue the story. GO OUT, WATCH IT AND BUY IT!!!!!
Reality (2023)
A career defining performance by Sydney Sweeney
This movie came out last year and the only reason why I didn't see or even heard of it is because I didn't even know who Sydney Sweeney was at the time. Now that I've seen the movie, I'm kicking myself in the butt for not having watched this movie last year and for not knowing who Sydney Sweeney is, because this movie was simply phenomenal. Reality (2023) is everything that you would expect from a movie made by HBO, but what makes this movie special is Sydney Sweeney's performance. This is hands down her best performance in her career so far, but then again she always given me it her all in every project she's been in, Madame Web not withstanding.
If you haven't this movie yet, then you need to watch it, if nothing else then to see why Sydney Sweeney is one of the best actresses of this or any other generation.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (2024)
The MonsterVerse never gets tired!
I've been a fan of the MonsterVerse since Godzilla (2014) & Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is the best entry in the MonsterVerse. These movies continue to ramp up the ridiculousness with each entry & I love it.
Now, I will say that the MonsterVerse movie wer never cinematic masterpieces to begin with, hell they don't even hold a candle to any of the Toho Godzilla Movies, but then again they shouldn't! These movies are never going to be able to compete with the Japanese movies, must like with Japan's Animation and Pro Wrestling. The MonsterVerse Movies are the Cinematic Junk Food of the Kaiju Movies.
Immaculate (2024)
Best Horror Movie of 2024 so far
I first heard about this movie back in January & I've had my eye on it ever since. With each passing day, my anticipation for this movie kept going higher. Now, I've seen the movie & I'm here to tell that Immaculate is the best horror movie of 2024 for now.
For once, we've got a Catholic Horror Movie that does something different & unique. The ending was bold & it will definitely divide audience. But the thing that I will remember this movie for is Sydney Sweeney's performance, this is easily her performance to date & that's saying given her resume. It's absolutely crazy to think that this woman went from appearing in a random episode of Disney XD's Kickin' It & the series finale of Pretty Little Liars to one of the best actresses of this or any other generation.
I highly recommend that everyone has to go out & watch this movie at least for Sydney Sweeney's performance, because that woman has a bright future ahead of her.
Dune: Part Two (2024)
GOD TIER CINEMA!!!!!
This was my most anticipated movie of 2024. I finally watched it in the theater on Tuesday & this was literally everything that I wanted it to be & more. Dune: Part Two is one of the greatest movies that I've ever seen in my life as well as one of the best movie theater experiences of my life.
Everything about the filmmaking in this movie was absolutely perfect. The acting, writing, directing, special effects, cinematography & musical score wre executed to perfection from start to finish. Denis Villeneuve has once again proven why he is one of the best filmmakers in the business today.
Inconclusion, Dune: Part Two is the best movie that I've seen in 2024 so far & I don't see any other movie dethroning it from my #1 spot. GO OUT, WATCH IT & BUY IT!!!!!
Madame Web (2024)
WORST THEATRICAL RELEASED SUPERHERO & COMIC BOOK MOVIE EVER!!!!!
This movie was doomed after the atrocious trailer & I've been waiting to watch this movie, just so that I can move on with my life. And after watching the movie, I can safely agree with everyone who says that this is the worst theatrical released Superhero and Comic Book Movie ever made & I'm only saying this because I watched Spider-Man: Lotus last year & that movie was even worse than this movie, but that doesn't make it any better.
Everything about the filmmaking in this movie is some of the worst that I've ever seen in my life & I've seen Jeepers Creepers: Reborn (2022). The camerawork is absolutely amateurish & the edit is abysmal, where they constantly use zooms at random point throughout the runtime. The acting is atrocious from everyone, which hurts because this movie has a lot of great actors including Dakota Johnson, Adam Scott, Emma Roberts, Celeste O'Connor, Isabela Merced, & Sydney Sweeney. Then again, it doesn't help that their dialogue is among some of the worst put onto screen, especially given the fact that the two writers of this movie are the same writers of Morbius (2022). The villain of this movie, played by Tahar Rahim who looks like Jeremy Jahns from YouTube, is the worst villain in any Superhero & Comic Book Movie or TV Show that I've ever seen. With all that being said I'm going to be spoiling major plot points in this movie from this point on in my review.
SPOILER WARNING: To anyone who saw the marketing for this movie, that scene with all the Spider-Woman kicking Ezekiel Sims' butt, yeah that scene last for about 50 seconds & it's all takes place in a premonition that happens within first 19 minutes of this movie. This movie takes place in 2003, so this movie is basically set within the same timeline as Tom Holland's Spider-Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but Sony chose to cut out any & all references to Spider-Man & Peter Parker from this movie.
In conclusion, Madame Web (2024) is one of the most cynical & abysmal movies that I've ever seen in my life. I feel terrible for a lot of these actors, because I like a lot of them, especially Sydney Sweeney, none of them deserve to have this movie in their filmography. Sony should be ashamed of themselves for making this movie & at this point Kevin Fiege & Marvel Studios need to take the Spider-Man rights away from Sony, because they clearly can't handle having Spider-Man or any other Superhero if we're being honest with ourselves.
Spider-Man: Lotus (2023)
Worst Superhero & Comic Book Movie EVER!!!!!
This movie is an atrocious against the Superhero & Comic Book Genre. The Director should be ashamed of what they did to the character of Spider-Man & Peter Parker. This was 2-hours of my life that I can never get back & I watched it for free on YouTube & I still want my money back. It baffles me that this movie was even allowed to get onto YouTuhe, especially given the controversy surrounding the director. I'm done with this movie. I swear to God if this director is allowed to make another movie in the future, I'm going to have a heart attack. Don't make that a reality l, don't make that the world that I have to live in.
Totally Killer (2023)
An absolutely delightful treat for the Halloween Season!
As someone who loves these types of horror movies like The Final Girls (2015), Happy Death Day (2017), Happy Death Day 2U (2019), & Freak (2020), I was so excited to see Back to the Future done as a Slasher Movie & this movie was everything that I wanted it to be & more.
Totally Killer (2023) is the perfect movie for this Halloween Season. I've literally rewatched this movie 6 times already & I love every minute of it. Kiernan Shipka & Olivia Holt are both spectacular as the co-leads in the movie & I can't wait for what they do next. These two have come a long way since their Young Lion Days on Disney Channel(Olivia Holt) & Nickelodeon/Mad Men(Kiernan Shipka).
Overall, Totally Killer was #TotallyPhenomenal & you need to watch this movie as soon as possible, especially during the Halloween Season.
See You on Venus (2023)
The perfect romance movie for a Friday night!
For the past 3 years, I've suffered through a lot of bad YA Romance Movies with the Kissing Booth Movies, the After Movies, & most recent Beautiful Disaster, so when the trailer to this movie was released, I was so happy to see that this movie would finally give me the YA Romance Movie that I've been waiting for.
After watching the movie, I can happily say that all of my suffering was worth it. See You on Venus is the Romance Movie that I've been waiting for. There were several moments throughout the movie where I was fighting back tears, especially the ending, where I thought the movie was going in one direction, but it pulled the rug out of me & I was happy crying during that moment. Virginia Gardner & Alex Aiono were so much fun as the movie's leads & their chemistry was perfect throughout the runtime.
Overall, if you're looking for ateen romance movie to watch on a Friday Night, then See You on Venus (2023) is the movie for you. See You on Venus (2023) is easily one of the best movies of 2023 & I'm give it a 10/10.
Boku dake ga inai machi (2016)
A perfect anime!
I first heard about this Anime Mini Series from a YouTuber, so I decided to give it a watch & after watching the Anime, I can easily say that Erased is an absolute masterpiece in both Anime & storytelling.
The story is about a man who goes back in time when he was a little boy in the 80s & he must protect his classmates from being kidnapped & murdered, but he also needs to find out who the killer is & also prevent his mother from being killed as well. This setup is executed to perfection. I love the time-travel & who dunnit aspect of this Mini Series. There are some twist & turns within the 12 episodes & the way that the show ends is again perfection.
Overall, Erased (2016) is a masterclass of both Anime & the murder-mystery genre. If you haven't seen this Series yet, then you are doing yourself a great displeasure. Go watch it NOW!!!!!
The Flash (2023)
One of the best DCEU Movies!
This was a movie that I had some interest in watching & after watching it, I can say that this movie was phenomenal!
Despite the controversy surrounding the lead actor, I found Miller's portrayal of both Barry Allens to be great. It was great to see Michael Keaton as Batman again & I was especially impressed with Sasha Calle as Supergirl. The one issue that I definitely noticed in the movie was the CGI, but to be fair, that's an issue with all of Andi Muschietti's movies, so that didn't really bother me.
Overall, I had a absolute blast with The Flash (2023), & if you're able to put your issues with Ezra Miller aside then you'll definitely enjoy the movie.
