Country Comfort (2021)
Full of Heart and Love
This series was so good and was definitely more than what I expected it to be! The first couple episodes were the cringey sitcom esque plots I was expecting but it just got better as it went on! One of the things I LOVED most about the series was that there was no love triangle in the show like you expected from the first episode or two rather it was a series about how powerful the love of family, both chosen and given, is to us. This message is so important especially in the world that we're currently living it! The characters are extremely loveable (especially Chloe ❤❤) that you don't hate any of them, which is also a great break from mainstream television, and you find yourself often laughing at & wanting to join in with their antics. They are definitely a family I want to be a part of!!! Plus that one reality nod thing that Beau says had me in stitches!!! The show is the perfect balance of heart, laughter, seriousness and joy that you'd want out of a sitcom like show! This is definitely a show I'd recommend other people to watch!!!
Julie and the Phantoms (2020)
Love, love, love!!! THANK YOU KENNY ORTEGA!!!
This show was something I went into being interested but not expecting too much and I've never been more glad to be wrong!!! It was charming, funny, heartfelt and had INCREDIBLE music!!! I cried both happy and sad tears but every minute was worth it!! I never thought I'd feel so much emotion over a ghost boy band and the chemistry they had with not only each other but also Julie!!! Also I could listen to Cheyenne Jackson sing for hours and Boo Boo Stewart showed really good and emotional acting chops in this too! Kenny Ortega THANK YOU for bringing us this incredible experience!!!!
Latter Days (2003)
Heartwarming and Tears of Joy
I cannot say enough words about this movie to encapsulate everything that it is. I don't think I have ever cried more tears of joy than when I watched this movie. The love the grows between Christian and Aaron is so natural and beautiful that whenever they were together on screen I cried, smiled or was just filled with happiness! This movie is an incredible love story that is told through struggle, loss and a sort of rebirth while being realistic in all aspects. It is definitely a movie I will recommend time and time again!
Never Have I Ever (2020)
Binge Worthy and Heartfelt
I just finished bringing this show tonight and I couldn't have been more happy than I was when I finished! This show is so full of heart that it makes you feel like family!!! It was also extremely beneficial and interesting getting somewhat of an insight into the lives of another culture and I loved getting to experience that!!! I would recommend this show in a heartbeat! I laughed, cried and got angry and I couldn't ask for more!!! And that ending was everything! (NO SPOLIERS!)
On - drakon (2015)
Beautiful, Heartfelt and Utterly Breathtaking
This movie was honestly so much better than I was expecting upon just watching the trailer! The scenery of this movie was breathtaking and I found myself not wanting to look away. I know so many people that tend to steer away from foreign films cause they cannot be bothered but I honestly didn't even care that I had to read subtitles because the story was so incredible and I found I got lost in the love story between Arman and Mira! Their love grew so naturally and when she started to sing for him in the wedding scene and then the wind picked up and her father knew who it was that she loved and you knew he didn't hate her for it by any means I started crying because it was just so incredible & then when she speaks to Arman in dragon form and he lays his head on her lap was just the most perfect thing!!! I loved every part of this movie from the cast to the BEAUTIFUL soundtrack! It is definitely a movie I would recommend if someone asked!!!
St. Agatha (2018)
Good Thriller, Disappointing if you wanted a Horror
While this movie is most definitely lacking in some departments such as the script which definitely leaves something to be desired. However, overall the movie was pretty good! It looks like it would be a horror movie however it is definitely more a psychological thriller. The plot has some holes that don't make sense.. like Paula, is she a victim a willing participant? Cause I mean at times she seemed reluctant and guilty. They do though cover that up with a constant flow of you have to be kidding me moments! BI can definitely say for myself and my friend who watched it we were definitely cheering for a victory for poor Mary (and eventually Sarah) in the end. And we liked/hated that the ending made us go "oh I get it.... and then dammit". There are however a few good "jump scare" scenes that make you a little more on edge for a few moments, I mean that ceiling scene..... There are also some pretty grotesque scenes that make you go "nope, I'm good"! All in all a good movie I would definitely recommend if your a fan of a good thriller!
Becoming Evil: Serial Killers (2019)
Informative and Educational with A Perfect Pinch of Creepy
This show was so awesome and 7 episodes just didn't feel like enough! As someone who loves anything to do with serial killers and finds it extremely interesting working in the Justice field this show went above and beyond in allowing viewers to get an in depth look into the minds and motives of the world's most famous serial killers. As a viewer at times you will not only feel creeped out by what you see but also you will feel educated as you get to hear first hand from many different experts from the fields of Psychology to law enforcement. While there is many more things to be talked about in regards to serial killers Becoming Evil does a GREAT job with giving viewers a look into the depraved but also interesting minds of Serial Killers. A DEFINITE recommend!
