De Palma's Worst Ever !
30 October 2019
Was looking forward to watching this film. The story line appeared to have some substance. The story line lacked continuity, and the scene transitions were not flowing smoothly. The acting was 'B' rated, aside from Guy Pierce who demonstrated what a talented actor can do even in a poorly directed film. This film should have had more enthusiasm in its production. The film's keypoints surrounding terrorism were very convincing and valid, but the delivery was very poor.

LOW BUDGET - SEASON 10
28 September 2019
Based on Season 10, episode #1 Blue Bloods budget has been cut substantially. The show's editing looks like it's from a laptop. This episode had a car fire scene which was really poor CGI work. Story line was very thin in this episode. I'l give it up until episode #5 to improve. Come on producers...with video on demand your days are numbered if you can't up your production quality !

CAGE is Back !!
21 September 2019
Nicholas Cage is back ! It's about time Hollywood let Cage back in. This movie is Cage like Pulp Fiction was to Travolta. Running with the Devil gives its audience a taste of how complex illicit drug supply chain management is. One thing which this movie focused on, of which others have failed to do is emphasize quality control and continuity. Hence the reason why Fentanyl is claiming so many lives. Running with the Devil has a suttle intensity, mixed with just the right dose of action. Thank god no CGI is present, just good ole' fashion good acting, cinematography, and color. The only thing this movie is missing was 35mm panavision, unfortunately the days of "motion picture" is no longer. Really looking forward to Cage's next production, come on Hollywood let him back in he's proved himself. Get him a personal trainer, give him a weave, and he'll be back as a top top box office earner in under 60 Seconds !

Pearson (2019)

ENGAGING, SMART, WELL SCRIPTED
22 August 2019
Pearson reminds me of the cutting edge story line Suits once had, albeit demonstrating more true to life events that affect us all citizens with corrupt municipal governments. I really hope the show's budget doesn't dwindle like Suits did. Thank god Pearson isn't shot in Toronto pretending to be in Chicago. Audiences are not stupid, particularly when a red Toronto TTC bus goes across the frame. Gina Torres acting career will rocket if the shows does well, of which I believe it will. The producer is smart enough to give something back to the audience with each episode, but at the same time a secondary climax is building up. The script delivery is great, the tempo of the story line is just right, and the actual story is very realistic. There's a whole lot of corruption in municipal governments at all levels. And "Pearson" represents it well, right to the core of both big town and small town America !
