S.I.D.S. (1999)
Hilariously dead babies
So this film commemorates the first adult film to ever touch on the hilariously controversial topic of sudden infant death syndrome.
It's very much like a lifetime special, I got off multiple times (a little too much, can you say CHAFING!!) and I even learned something in the process. And very much like the lifetime channel, SIDS is an unsolved mystery!
I don't want to give too much away, but the story involved a pregnant man. This man is given a gift from Iroc, who plays a painted mime. Now, let me tell you, the makeup on Iroc is EXXXQuisite! Also, Donita makes a mark on viewers hearts and minds by playing the role of woman in bathtub perfectly. Every now and then, you hear a splish splash, its DONITA takin that bath!
OK thanks for reading this sorry if English not good i come from Albania
28 Days Later... (2002)
Intense action/horror that will surely keep you clinging to the edge of your seat
I saw this movie in an intimate theater with my hot n' heavy cousin timothy, about ten minutes into the movie, my hairy chested cousin and I turned to eachother, grabbed eachother, and cried out "WE ARE IN FOR A REAL TREAT!!" But seriously folks, this movie does go above and beyond the boundaries of the average "zombie" flick. If its gore you want, this movie has plenty. But what this movie has that most don't, is an involving, intense, and overall CONVINCING storyline. These are characters that you come to care about. And these zombies are not the ones you have come to expect. In fact I don't even think they have a hunger for flesh, but they do have an all out URGE to kill anything that is still breathing. This means they can run after their victims instead of lumbering slowly and ineffectively. (The downside of the average zombie is shown in the color remake of Night OF The Living Dead, when the not so hot heroine simply shoves all the zombies aside!) Plus you see that hot hunk of a man, NUDE! Lets cross our fingers and hope for a GREAT DVD in the future. Sincerely, Dave the dude
P.S. To M.A.Rogers, who called the movie a mistake on Boyle's part, i wouldn't trust you, knowing that you gave Jason X + Dusk Till Dawn 3 ten out of tens. BOOYAAAAAAA
The First Year (2001)
A great documentary of unsung heros
I saw this documentary by chance on PBS last night. It chronicles the hardships of being an inter-city teacher in Los Angeles. Some segments are very emotional, such as when one teacher realizes how little his students have. The main thing that this documentary brings to mind, is that the teachers who are helping these kids out are heros. Heros that not many people in our country recognize.
Lunar: The Silver Star (1992)
A truly great story
I bought this game during the summer of 1999, and i still love to play it. There are so many loveable characters each with their own personalities. The dialog between characters is great thanks to a great translation by Working Designs. This is a story of young Alex who lives in the town of Burg, Alex dreams of becoming a Dragonmaster like his hero, Dragonmaster Dyne. We control Alex through his journey as he finds the four dragons, meets new friends, and falls in love. There is also the villain Ghaleon who has an evil plan for the world. During the important plot points there are beautiful animated sequences totaling in about an hour of animation. Overall this game is a blast to play and is worth your money!
Superman (1978)
A Truly Wonderful Film
I thought this film would be a little too campy for me before watching the special edition DVD. To my surprise this film completely blew me away. IT has such wonderful cinematography, and really great acting. As a fan of comics I can say this, along with Batman, is the best adaption to film of any character. If you doubt this movie, give it a try, chances are you will love it. The DVD is highly recommended!!
La cité des enfants perdus (1995)
Great great work of art!
I saw this movie on the Bravo! channel and i LOVED IT! My brother's friends had recommended it to me and i was thrilled to finally see it. Don't be turned off by the subtitles, much of this story is told in fantastic visuals. The story is complex and simple, creepy and funny, and always very interesting. I highly recommend it!!!
