The Company Called Glitch That Nobody and Everybody Wanted (2024)
A Movie That Makes You Think Rather Than Feel
This film was very wonderfully done in every way imaginable-from the direction, to the lighting, to the acting. Although, there was little to no action involved, the dialogue alone was enough to keep me gripped from start to finish. The relationship between the two owners of the tech start-up is akin to two parents fighting over how to raise their children. Should they allow the children to leave the nest, so to speak, to learn and thrive on their own? Or should they continue watching over them personally to ensure their growth is optimal? I'm used to watching films that allow me to turn my brain off and just consume the content, but this one had me thinking the whole way through. It was quite a welcome change of pace! I have never seen a Smart Business Film prior to this one, but this one has certainly made me very intrigued by the genre. Kudos to all the cast and crew involved in the creation of this wonderful film!
The Second Target (2019)
Amazing, for a low budget independent film
Although the budget for The Second Target is lacking (the budget is estimated to be $180), the quality of the film is not, as it showcases numerous cinematic and creative camera shots. The movie is full of inexperienced actors, yet they still managed to capture the essence of each of their characters well. The story is very cohesive and keeps the viewer intrigued the entire way through. Not once was I bored while watching the film. If you're interested in independent films, I strongly recommend The Second Target to you.
