True Detective: Night Country: Part 1 (2024)
Big yikes
See for yourself how bad it is. Social politics and garbage plot is a good summary in my opinion.
A shallow entry in the series, couldnt resist to check how long until the episode is over every 5 minutes. Characters are bland, gender and sexual preferences are mentioned as if they are something plot important or character defining. Every female character is ugly ... aside from Foster. Every white guy is pretty dumb, you know the drill. The new age Hollywood agenda pushing bull**** with little concern for the overarching story. I guess if you want to have something in the background while you cook, it works, the music is not bad.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Really annoying main character
The bad:
I couldn't bare the scenes with Galadriel. To begin with she has plot armor, constantly angry and pissed at the world like a 12 yold, no consequences of her actions, basically nothing on the screen other than her ears can somehow indicate that she is close to a thousand year old elf.
The way they portray how Mordor was formed is pretty silly as well. For that amount of money youd expect some more polished characters and scenario.
The good:
The cgi and music were great but that was not enough to immerse me considering the strange characters and interactions and silly plot.
Gave it a 1 out of disappointment for what it could have been if they really tried.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
"Im Bugs, like in Bugs Bunny"
Its like watching people watch the first movie. Everything is generic, boring and youre constantly spoon fed. Like every other generic movie that is made in 8 months and comes out every 2 weeks... I expected it to be bad and I'm still disappointed.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
An action scene compilation from a 8 yold star wars fan
This movie is hardly even a movie. Its just some random moments merged into this boring cgi mess, not making any sense, created for the 5 seconds culture of people that consider michael bay movies the pinnacle of modern cinema.
