Black Adam (2022)
At no point did I care
One of the big issues with this movie is the Rock. I used to really like him but man, he has been in a LOT of movies recently. Some really good, some average, and lately, some terrible movies.
Every movie his in now feels the same. Big entrance, check. Look how big I am, check. Catchy one liners, check. Saves the day and everyone loves him, check.
Back Adam has lots of bad CGI, lost of bad acting, and the script is terrible.
As I write this, there are writers on strike because of under-payment. Most of the movies coming out of Hollywood, for the past decade have been terrible and these writers want MORE money lol.
Lets hope this new DC direction is better, because surely it cant get much worse.
I only gave it 3 stars because seeing Henry Cavill as superman for 10 seconds was great!
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022)
This is better
This is way better than Discovery. It was very enjoyable to watch and I'm looking forward to the next episode - something I'd never say about Discovery.
Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Really bad
WW1 was great, WW2 was terrible - started ok, then turned into a romcom, then turned into a b-grade CGI film... such a shame.
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
Wow - 7.8 lol
Why do we get SO much Star Trek lately, all CRAP and we can't get one new season of Stargate?
If they're going to butcher every new version of Star Trek, we should at least give Stargate another go, I mean its been over 10 years since we've had that.
Whoever wrote this, shouldn't write again!
Star Trek: Discovery: Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2 (2019)
Man, season 2 was brutal
I liked season one, thought it was good. But, season 2 was terrible. Nothing made sense, and I have to jump on the band wagon about Michel - she needs to go away! I like the end part, talking about never discussing Discovery to tie back into TOS. I hope they have new writers for season 3, and being so far forward, we see discovery become its own story, a good story with the science part of 'Science Fiction' being about ACTUAL science.
The Grand Tour: The Grand Tour Presents: Seamen (2019)
Awesome
I could watch the boys, watch cricket. Really entertaining. Honestly, dreading the day they actually retire.
Ad Astra (2019)
Lol not good
I mean, I like Brad Pitt, I think his a great actor, but I'm not giving it more stars just for that.
Moon Pirates? MOON PIRATES! How did they get up there. Wouldn't future governments restrict 'certain' people going to the moon lol. Why did they build an under ground tunnel only to make it short enough you need to take a buggy the rest of the way? lol.
Then, on Mars, there is a sewer system? Or maybe it's stormwater, in the middle of no where.
It's also really boring... really, really boring.
