Resident Evil (2002)
One of the best films in the franchise!
Milla Jovovich's role as Alice didn't make sense because we have no main characters by the name of Alice in the video games. At first it seemed to have no references to the first video game, until it shows a mansion. But after that in this film, we didn't really get to see many references, and the nemesis transformation near the end was unexpected and weird. Milla plays a huge role in "Resident Evil" and seems to be having fun while filming. The zombies in this film are pretty close to the video games, and the feature of the licker was good too.
Silent Hill: Revelation (2012)
Good in some ways...just some ways.
The one thing I liked about this movie was how they at least attempted to focus on the game to inspire this film, Silent Hill 3. But this film was bad. It has nothing at all to do with the first film, Silent Hill, which was a totally better installment because of it's lack of jumpscares and less gore than Silent Hill: Revelation. With pyramid head in it, I guess that was good, but sometimes they went a little too far with the swords. They overused CGI effects which was something I noticed compared to the first film, and tried too hard on basing it on Silent Hill's 3rd installment of the main franchise. The ending doesn't make sense and doesn't have the same emotional atmosphere as Silent Hill, and I obviously, just obviously, didn't like this movie. Although there were some good 3D scenes going on, it relied too much on the following stuff listed.
Baiohazâdo reberêshonzu 2 (2015)
Fun, disturbing, and emotional.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 was, in my opinion, one of the best games of the series. Raid Mode especially was fun, and the fact that you can be able to play co-op in this game's campaign, unlike the previous installment, Resident Evil: Revelations. The story's main characters are Claire Redfield and Barry Burton's daughter, Moira. It's almost impossible for starters, but it's pretty fun. I recommend this to Resident Evil franchise fans and new-comers!
