Ghost Loop (2019)
Bottom of the barrel
I had watched pretty much all of my paranormal library so I decided to try this out. I sure did regret it. This "investigation" team is the worst I've watched. Ever.
The over the top, unhinged drama just plain sucks. Everyone is so tightly wound that it's absolutely annoying. It is absolutely impossible for me to believe that these clowns are "professionals".
3 episodes. I tried to be fair and give it a chance, but realized it was an absolute waste of my time and I would never get that time back.
3 episodes was a stretch, at that. There's almost nothing that these worthless actors won't freak over.
Ghost Hunters (2004)
A shadow (figure) of its former self
I really enjoyed this show when it came out and for years after. But when Grant left and suddenly we had Ghost Nation, something changed and the show never seemed to recover. And what the HELL is wrong with Gonsalves??
Bringing back Kimberly Williams, Amy Bruni, Adam Berry and Dustin Pari is a nice shot in the arm, but it's not enough.
The investigations seems half assed compared to previous seasons. They seem to accept one theater seat being in the down position as an indication that there was an entity present with no effort to try and find an explanation. And that's just one example.
It's still mediocre entertainment, but there's not a whole lot of effort going on.
Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022)
F-Bomb Christmas
This was somewhat of a promising concept absolutely failed to deliver. Horrible dialog, terrible acting. The multiple attempts to kill robot Santa felt like it was stolen from Terminator.
I don't have a problem with F bombs at all, but there were so many it was more annoying than anything. I wonder what the count was.
Of course, the crappy characters you were hoping to die, did.
I expect movies like this to be entertainingly cheesy, but this didn't even accomplish that. It was just a waste of time that was completely unsatisfying and ridiculously predictable.
The only thing interesting was the opening of the movie with the TV ads. It went right into the crapper right after that.
The Munsters (2022)
Disappointed
Lily and Grandpa were both cast and played well enough. Herman was absolutely horrible.
I have to wonder if this would have better if they has been able to film in black and white.
There were moments that captured the fun of the original series, but a lot of it just dragged on aimlessly.
The sets and wardrobes were fairly impressive.
It's probably a good thing this wasn't released in theaters. No doubt there would have been some who would have walked out of theaters and demanded their money back. I had to stop watching and come back watch the rest of it later just to say I watched the whole thing.
One bright spot was Catherine Schell as Moya.
The Goldbergs (2013)
Well past its prime
This was a once great show, especially for anyone who was in their youth in the 80's.
Now the writing is terrible and the characters aren't even likeable anymore. The show is just stale.
The death of George Segal should have been the end of the show.
The Dead Files (2011)
Comedy at its finest. "It's bad. It's real bad."
This show should have a laugh track, especially with Amy's facial expressions.
This show would make a great drinking game. Everytime Amy says "It's bad" or a variation of, everyone should take a drink.
It's all just silly.
Poor Matthew, he's just a minor part of the whole thing.
The Great North (2021)
Awful
This is a total borefest and couldn't keep my interest for even a few minutes. Humorless dreck that's a shoddy variation of Bob's Burgers. But I guess that's what's to be expected from Fox, considering their crappy programming history.
Hell Baby (2013)
Hot garbage
Horror comedy? It's neither. I could barely stay awake through this.
What a waste of a good cast.
Ouija Seance: The Final Game (2018)
Trouble sleeping? Watch this movie.
Terrible actors. Terrible writing. Ridiculously boring.
