Butlers in Love (2022)
Nice chemistry
Liked the chemistry of the main characters. Better video than I thought it would be. The ending was a bit rushed, however. A little more thought by the writers and they could have brought it all home very well.
A Holiday in Harlem (2021)
Change of pace
Nice change of pace with down home city folks showing a new way for Cmas. Fighting some of the same old issues, the lead actors move everyone else to a higher level.
Roadhouse Romance (2021)
Twin daughter and son from different mothers
Different actors in the leads but similar on a higher plane. They eventually level off and there is the magic. Nice to view actors who don't fall into the same mode, work toward the same ends, and see that while they are talking past each other magic is something worth pursuing.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
Huge!
Of course. Way before it's time. Great actors who went the extra mile.
Debris (2021)
No depth whatsoever
Classic lack of depth in plot. Seems writers don't know where to go or how to provide any answers about the gist of the story. Just asks more questions rather than providing any answers.
Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
Wonderfulness
So true and timeless. The interpersonal dynamics are full with tension that gets resolved well.
Hiroshima (1953)
War, what is it good for?
Strategy and politics aside, civilians on both sides of WW2 paid a high price. That's a take away from this melodramatic take on the plight of many innocents.
World on Fire (2019)
Nice story but...
Good action but Helen Hunt, one of my all time favs, looks like Odo from Deep Space Nine. She's better than that. KM
