Beautiful Uplifting Nigerian Movie

I really enjoyed Adiré. The movie touches upon themes of empowerment of women, male domination, arrogance within the church, judging others, and it also portrays some beautiful aspects of Nigerian culture. Adiré the protagonist, breaks free from the clutches of her violent, criminal pimp and starts her own successful lingerie line. She uses her own sexuality to make money and then the sexiness of her products to help her clients spice up their love life. Despite all the societal prejudice against her, a good man falls in love with her, she overcomes the judgement of the church members, her little community and her church are transformed for the better... goodness and love prevail over evil and hate... highly recommend bravo to all the beautiful actresses and the talented director !!!

Absolutely Genial, Bravo !!!

Immensely enjoyed the movie, brilliant acting, very original plot, quite the cultural experience, happy ending too !!!! You admire the courage of the young boy, and you get a feeling for the beauty and simplicity of African young love. The contrast between the slum and the posh white man's house sends a deep message that happiness is not about money. I hate the character restriction on this app, so here is some more bla bka bla. The tasks for the young boy to complete hold a deep spiritual message: in order to defeat evil and sadness and suffering in the world we must spread love and kind deeds.

This movie is a master piece... the tragic fall of the hero is marvelous... the depiction of the American Utopia is exhilarating. The existential crisis is nerve wrenching... Burt Lancaster is a Ray of sunshine... a dreamer that is broken by life... the innocent love of a blond angel takes him by surprise. He has broken many hearts and tries to atone for it with his childlike innocence. People are ruthless when he starts to fall, it is gut wrenching ... and the 99.99.99 suspended solids removal rate of the swimming pool filter is a marvel of technology and a funny joke at the same time.. Paradise Lost...
