Very proud of the people who worked on this film. Wonderful talents. It was really cool to see James Lafferty and Cariba Heine work together. Both have been superb actors since their youth.

I had high expectations

I am biased because I have watched the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, a show with almost perfectly detailed production elements.
Some of the actors of this show, Hollywood, were great and some were lackluster-sort of like Glee (but Glee has a pass because that show was about teenagers). As a fan of Nip/Tuck, Glee, and ACS, I had high expectations of historical accuracy and great production value. These factors were good but not great. The finale seemed like it was rushed through which was a disappointment.

Not the Last Airbender but still special in its own way

This is a beautiful show as it reflects the changing times of the 2010s. Although it is not the Last Airbender, the Legend of Korra still tells a beautiful story of the Avatar and her friends fighting to make the world a better place in ways that some judge to be controversial.

It is amazing. Truly amazing.
No matter what episode you start on, you get instantly hooked and wanting more. I've probably watched this show 10 times because there is truly nothing else like it. If there is, I have yet to find it. It may sound silly but this show holds a special place in my heart because that is how much I adore it.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this show. Nicholas Hoult, Elle Fanning, and everyone else involved absolutely 1000% delivered. They captured the deep irony, the droll and finely drawn characters of McNamara's other period masterpiece The Favourite.
