Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident - Gate, Open (2023)
Kenjaku (Pseudo Geto)
"Yo, Satoru! It's been a while."
What stood there was somebody he'd killed with
his own hands a year before. His best friend.
Is he a fake? Is this some kind of transformation
technique? All possibilites were rejected by his six
eyes. HE'S REAL...
And then it all came flowing into his brain. Three
years of his youth. Even though it was just an
instant, for Satoru Gojo, one minute had long
passed
(I love this scene so much, it's so beautifully
painful)
A protagonist, Gojo, portrayed as the villain in the eyes of the evil (curses) for being too strong they can never make any successful move as long as he's lurking around. He's the RELIABILITY the modern sorcerers have and the reason Jujutsu society hasn't fallen apart.
That is, roles reversed, the villains are the ones afraid of what he can do. Which made said villains unite to come up with a plan in order to defeat him. Jogo, volcano head, gets too greedy and makes a first move in absence of the prison realm (s1) which gave us an idea the gap in strength as Gojo demolished him in FASHION. He was saved in a near death situation by Hanami and the curses made their run.
Re-encounter, aka THE SHIBUYA PLAN. The curses have gathered all possible resources and strategies and are looking quite confident facing him again exploiting his greatest weakness CROWD. The same strategy his old best friend Geto used to get away freely when he was sentenced to death, because in that situation Gojo fails to kill Geto amidst the mass. He's the strongest, but HE CAN'T SAVE EVERYONE.
Is he the strongest because he's Gojo Satoru or is he Gojo Satoru because he's the strongest.
Shibuya was a mass massacre. Everyone in the train turned into curses. The special grade villains spare no life. YET they can't reach Gojo, who's infinity is beyond their understanding and neither would the technique they studied specifically to counter infinity, Domain Amplification, have much success. Gojo successfully kills Hanami who was his top priority as he's seen him from the sky battling Yuji and Todo and how much potential he had (halt Hanami's growth right there).
The curses shift to plan B: RUN he's a freaking MONSTER.
Yeah, Gojo came off as your classic horror movie type villain in that sequence. Seeing the mass die didn't stop him, he knows if he doesn't win more will die.
Paralyzed, unable to go all out, use purple or any of his advanced techniques he seems to be out of moves. The tables were turned and the special grades finally have the favor. Domain expansion of 0.2 seconds Infinity void. Any longer would've killed all the civilians tho it froze everyone for around 5 minutes. Enough time for Gojo to speed blitz all the minor curses (transfigured humans). 3 each second.
Exhausted the main villain of the show comes up and tells him that he's not the main character and that he used Geto his best friends body 100% cause mf got em 6 eyes and if it was some costume man would notice. He's too strong since too long and ain't no way someone reading this I'm including strollers without tagging as one. Pseudo Geto, aka Kenjaku, didn't know PRISON REALM just some sort of domain expansion. He left Gojo TRAIN and build muscle because when man return he be flexing that Toji 8 packs (around 5 years in the anime)
Prison Realm is the final remains of the Buddhist Monk Genshin. Referred to as a "taboo object" it is a living barrier so powerful that there is nothing it cannot seal. The Six Eyes are an innate gift rarely inherited within the Gojo clan. They are a nonstandard jujutsu trait manifesting as a pair of bright blue eyes that grant a bearer extrasensory perception. God is good you really reading all this? This includes seeing the flow of cursed energy in extreme detail and the ability to use that flow to read cursed techniques. The eyes also allow for ultra-precise control over the user's cursed energy, which is indispensable for properly utilizing the Limitless technique.
And then it all came flowing into his brain. Three
years of his youth. Even though it was just an
instant, for Satoru Gojo, one minute had long
passed
Gate open!
Jujutsu Kaisen: The Shibuya Incident (2023)
Clever episode
Really clever episode
The slow down in pace was totally necessary as there were so much info to process. Yuji displays his incredible talent once more defeating the most dangerous character in the series. The ost when the curse gave up and nominated Yuji a clever one was truly magnificent. Mahito indirectly calls him a skillfull sorcerer.
I like they straight up adapted the fight between those two as it was portrayed in the manga (troll).
Camera angles were sick. Had to pause several times to understand what was going on cause how weird every scene looked. Was worth the minimum effort, realized Yuji went upwards then the grasshopper jumped sideways to the wall to the already open hole. Such brilliant animation.
Ui Ui such a weirdo too. Can't get off Mei's cat.
Then we shift to the main plot. Getttttttttto is so thoughtful. We getting an Aizen? What he thinks he gotta do against Gojo? Surprise him?
Every episode keeps getting better and better
This one surely leaves you waiting for the next.
I Am Groot: Groot's First Steps (2022)
I Am Groot
I am groot and no one can tell us otherwise
Guardians of the galaxy watch order:
GOTG VOL1, VOL2, I AM GROOT, GOTG VOL3
Haven't seen 3 yet I'm so hype to watch it.
In Vol1 I love how Thanos was presented to be the pinnacle of all villains and how they displayed the infinity stones. Such powerful stones. Quill was lucky his Bloodhood had connections to an immortal, a subject that'll be thorough in volume 2 when they encounter his father.
Vol 3 is talked about a lot and I can't wait to see it.
What more can I say, apple is sweet and they grow on Malus domestica. In case you didn't know An apple is a round, edible fruit produced by an apple tree (Malus domestica). Apple trees are cultivated worldwide and are the most widely grown species in the genus Malus.
The length of each episode is as long as my bank account. Have fun!
What's your name?
Jujutsu Kaisen: Evening Festival (2023)
Thirty first October in Shibuya Thirty first Episode
That Mechamaru vs Mahito fight was beyond all imagination
But...
Ladies & Gentlemen, Shibuya has officially started !!
No way Shibuya started on the 31st episode
This a coincidence or what
Domain expansion!! Self-embodiment of perfection!!!
We get to see Mahito's HANDFUL domain animated once more.
Mechamaru only individual to snitch but has everyone's respect for he was doing them with the right reasons.
Who's Mechamaru? Sakugamaru! Episode was pure Sakuga. Unimaginable animation sequence when Mahito turns into a fish and hides by diving into the ocean or when he finds cover in the forest turning into several species.
Mechamaru only Jujutsu Kaisen character to beat a domain using simple domain.
That shows how much preparation Mechamaru has done to beat those 2. He's technically above the rest of the students atp in time.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory: Part 3 (2023)
Summer Is Over!
A happy-go-lucky "beach episode" turns bloody real fast
No sol/rom com without a beach episode. Told ya it would be lighthearted :P
Probably my favorite anime beach episode. Teen Gojo using protecting Riko as an excuse to have some fun. We get to meet our Senpai Nanamin Kento in his teens. He always has some weird stuff to say
Love how Gojo's eyes glowing equals his infinity is activated. That helps understanding that moment, freaking Toji was there with them the entire time (bet he had some fun too in the sea).
Gojo is back eating all budget of the show!
I'm in shock, Toji is a whole menace. He killed more than just the beautiful moment. His character set so many things in motion. Crazy! This flashback is an emotional rollercoaster.
Detachment (2011)
Real fiction (What you need now)
Found the class clip from tiktok which got me interested. Never knew I was in for some threat
Recommend to everyone parents, workers, unemployed, teachers, students anyone regardless of their condition whether they're passing a joyful or tough situation atm
Deep insight and reflection is needed every now and then.
An answer I would like to be answered is which of the girls he ended up living with or did he disappear and moved on like nothing happened. This movie will be appreciated when it delivers to the person like me yesterday who NEEDED it.
Yes, NEED is a keyword even in the movie itself.
That's why I had such a vast recommendation zone. You never know if you esige it till you watch and see for yourself.
Better Call Saul: Saul Gone (2022)
Welcome to reality
The episode screams "Welcome to reality"
A natural conclusion. Saul being able to manipulate the jury as he pleases. He stands on top at the end, he always does. Kim doesn't have to worry anymore.
Is it a happy ending? I don't know myself
Is it a sad ending? I still don't know
All I know is that it's a well crafted one.
Time to rewatch Breaking bad!
Better Call Saul: Plan and Execution (2022)
DIVIDED IN 2 PARTS
PART 1: PLAN
The whole series has culminated to this one single plan and the execution is probably the most fun entertaining thing ever!
PART 2: EXECUTION
I have no words to describe this particular segment. The execution is not predictable. It's surprising and able to feel your heart with all sorts of emotion.
Shingeki no Kyojin: From You, 2000 Years Ago (2022)
To you, 2000 years from now
From you, 2000 years ago
An anime milestone
Memory Shards
Fathomless imagination animated
We are touched by deep emotions
And horrified by how chained we are to the forest
The fruit of creative animation and heartfelt voicework
We have arrived.
Peacemaker: Murn After Reading (2022)
Woah!
Everytime I watch a peacemaker episode it makes my Thursday better. The plot twists. Idk where this is heading to (thought I had an idea) but what matters is it keeps on dropping fire episodes every week.
The intro is unskippable.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Memories of the Future (2022)
The enemy
Erwin (to Eren): "Who is the real enemy"
No one knows who the enemy is.
Marleys are convinced Eldians are the devils.
Eldians have to fight back.
Pieck points at the Yaegerists.
Zeke thinks it's Grisha, his father.
Eren sees the titans as the obvious threat to humanity.
The war continues.
This episode reveals the ultimate villain.
Very few series comes close to such levels of writing.
Peacemaker: Monkey Dory (2022)
Too good
In this show no one can be trusted (including Ariana Grande because she looks too innocent).
Scary butterflies, never heard of 'em.
Pissmaker got the girl to drink his special drink. That alone makes this episode a 10/10.
How he memorized all those names xD.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Two Brothers (2022)
Welcome back
Something we all miss in Attack on titan is back: Gorgeous animation.
Rumbling rumbling it's coming rumbling rumbling, beware!
The adaptation before this episode has been consistently above average so far but nothing mind blowing. The plot has carried so far. Props to Isayama.
You can tell Mappa also cares about Attack on titan as much as they care about their other works. I cried for different reasons this episode and I'm not afraid to admit it, one is for a sad scene and the other is a tears of joy because of how good the animation was.
Omine goated.
What a coincidence they had to animate one of the best parts of the manga this good.
Imo, any episode of Aot with such a beautiful animation and direction is not less than a 10.
I have rewatched this episode 3 times now, trust me when I say it won't be the last.
Peacemaker: The Choad Less Traveled (2022)
John Cena - that's enough for me
Seriously am I the only one who comprehends the complexity of this cinematic masterpiece?
Jokes aside, any living been would think a John Cena or any other famous wrestlers show would be trash.
Thursday boys, we keep eating. Hope it stays as consistent.
Élite (2018)
Was really good
First 3 seasons were a 10/10 for me. With season 3 being my favorite. I loved it so much. 4th season is a pain in the ass. They should discontinue this. It's lost it's potential.
Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
Ehh at the highest level
You can tell the budget is really high. On surface level, it looks amazing but the script was so poor. The only good parts were during the first minutes into the movie and when King Kong punches Godzilla which is also in the trailer that felt really satisfying, the rest is questionable.
Free Guy (2021)
Creative
I've watched a lot of deja vus but this is done right. It's not the classic wake up to correct your mistakes.
It's something else. It's a game where the npc gains autonomy.
We see real famous gamers in the show too which is something beautiful.
A weirdly nice time killer.
Red Notice (2021)
Watch till the end
It's a fun watch.
The comedy is there but I think it's a bit too much and present in almost every scene.
The writing appears as childish at first because of so many things that don't make much sense. But...
The best part of the movie is the later reveal that feels up all the holes.
It put a lot of smile in my face and I'm glad I watched this.
I love the big trio.
