Yaara (2020)
MEDIOCRE
I was expecting a lot from this Tigmanshu Dhulia starrer Yaara, but I was really disappointed after watching the movie. It's not that the movie is too bad. It has it's moments but, it's only a few, and works only in parts. Amit Sadh was the only shining star in this otherwise mediocre action thriller. Even Vidyut Jamwal and Vijay Verma were too monotonous. Though, Kenny Basumatary was a surprise package. We always debate about insiders vs outsiders, but, we also need to understand that this is the entertainment industry and if you cannot perform well, it becomes difficult for producers to cast somebody Continuosly for a long period of time. Vidyut Janwal truly deserves a good script, which would do justice to his talent and would showcase him as an abled actor.
Omerta (2017)
Outstanding
Rajkummar Rao you are fabulous. And Hansal Mehta saab, what a master director you are😍😍😍
Breathe: Into the Shadows (2020)
Brilliant
If you go for critics' review, then you will surely miss one of the best Indian web series. Just go for it. I am sure you wouldn't regret watching this. Abhishek was brilliant, and so was Amit Sadh and Nithya Menen and they were aptly supported by a stellar supporting cast. Now, looking forward to AB's more such good works and definitely waiting for the next season. It's a blockbuster event 👍
Aarya (2020)
Brilliant
This is a great comeback from The Bong Beauty, Sushmita Sen. And she was too effortless in the series. And also a good support from the other characters. And the Gita song, at the end takes it to another level. Amazing series 👍👌
Sacred Games (2018)
Outstanding
What an outstanding debut for Netflix India. This is how you announce your arrival
Mirzapur (2018)
Brilliant
This is how you make a series on Gangsters 😎🔫🔪🚬
Simply outstanding 👍
Bulbbul (2020)
Brilliant😎
First of all, I would like to clarify that it's not a horror film, rather it is a supernatural mystery thriller set in the 19th Century Bengal Presidency.
A gripping tale of mystery, cruelty on women of our country and revenge of the protagonist makes Bulbbul a good watch. It's not a typical Indian supernatural thriller, where you could see witches hanging upside down from a tree and killing people for fun. All the actors have done phenomenal work. Parambrata Chattopaadhyaay, Paoli Dam, Rahul Bose and Avinash Tiwary were simply outstanding. But, the show stealer was, undoubtedly, Bulbbul aka Tripti Dimri. What a find she has been for Bollywood! Clearly an acting powerhouse. Though the Screenplay could have been better and also the ending, but since this is Anvita Dutt's directorial debut, so she would surely evolve as a director. And i will definitely look forward to her future works.
Overall, a good film, and you can surely try it. But, do not try to compare this with Tumbbad, as both the films are from different genres.
