Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)

Not as bad as what people make it out to be in my opinion

So I will admit, some of the cgi is overdone and aged poorly, there are a couple shots that looked pretty good tho. I believe the mix of practical effects and cgi would've been nice.

Vfx aside, I get the argument about how the aliens concept is a little far fetched, but people gotta remember that this was during the space race. If Nazi Germany was after supernatural religious artifacts, of course the Soviets would be going after extra terrestrial knowledge.

Story wasn't super good nor super bad, it was perfectly enjoyable. And the good ole Indiana Jones humor is also present.

Cinematography was really good aswell. No complaints on camera work.

Ratatouille (2007)

A must see Pixar movie

I'm not a professional critic, but it doesn't take a professional to say that this is a great movie. In my opinion is an amazing movie. The animation is absolutely stunning, with only a few select shots starting to show their 14 years of age. The plot of this movie may not seem the best on paper, but somehow Brad Bird made it a masterpiece. The score is flawless, sound design is top notch, voice acting was pretty good too, with an excellent cast.

The only odd thing I find on this movie is how they leave the whole hair pulling thing completely unexplained and a mystery on how it works, but I won't fault the movie for this because if the movie was to stop and explain the science of it, then it would probably be distracting from the plot. So I wouldn't consider this an issue at all.

Can't wait for Pixar to release new movies like this in the future. Soul wasn't too bad, but definitely not Ratatouille level

Forza Horizon 4 (2018 Video Game)

Best Arcade Style Racing Game

This game is not by any means a simulation game, but that doesn't mean it isn't one of my favorite racing games ever. This game has an overwhelming amount of cars. The cars are very dynamic and have amazing attention to detail. The sound design is also pretty great, although I the sound effects for the cars are not very dynamic and most cars sound the same. However I'd say that's excusable because of the fact that there's 300+ vehicles in the game and would be too difficult, and expensive in both money and data to have individual sounds for every single vehicle in the game. The physics handle like an arcade style racing game, which is perfect because that's exactly what it is. FH4 is supposed to be a hyper realistic racer. My friends and I constantly play this game, and half the time we aren't racing. We're screwing around modifying and buying cars. This game truly is incredible. If you're looking for simulation, I recommend Dirt Rally 2.0. If you're looking for arcade fun, I recommend this game.

Sky High (2005)

Honestly pretty creative

In my opinion, this is a pretty good superhero movie. The plot is not complex whatsoever, but it's not supposed to be, the movie is interesting enough for it to be basic and have it still work. The superpowers are executed in visually creative ways that are fun to watch, and are also used creatively. Many times the powers reflect the personalities of the characters, kind of like The Incredibles. The score is great, hitting all the right notes and correct moods. This isn't a masterpiece but is definitely an extremely fun overall movie to watch.
