Liked it!

Liked it, but it comes nowhere near the original, to be honest. Suriya had done a good job, but cannot be compared with what Dileep has done with his role, I personally prefer the original Kunjikoonan rather than this, but this is not a bad movie at all! Amazing!

Malayalam industry should be ashamed of Kammara Sambhavam's failure.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a satirical gem, a perfect example of a film that the Malayalam industry doesn't deserve. I find it funny when films like Kammara Sambhavam turned out to be failure at the box office, and bat poop like Pulimurugan and Madhura Raja collected over 100 crores. Dileep is such a strong actor, I always think of how such amazing performances don't get awards. The industry has kept this actor aside for a long time. His films like Kunjikoonan, Chanthupottu, Pachakuthira deserved amazing awards, but were left how it was. Here's an partially offensive statement for the Malayalam cinema lovers: Dileep is a better actor than Mamootty, and I find Dileep's mass characters better than most of Mohamlal's.

The film-in-film concept is just as amazing as the irony behind the film. I will not be getting into the story or the sypnosis. If you have not watched the movie please do, it is one of the best Malayalam movies the industry has given.

(SPOILERS AHEAD) In the second half, Dileep's entry begins with showing a disk brakes bike; a lot of dumb people actually take it as a mistake that the director did not notice. Are you serious!? How can you think such an amazing director will such a big mistake unnoticed? The disk brake was also highlighted in the film, showing that it's was 100% intended. The film-in-film is mocking how political parties and other influential people re-write the true history and present it to people their own way, where hero becomes villain, and villain becomes hero. I'm amused at how people think it's a mistake. Hats off to the whole crew, especially Dileep, Rathish Ambat and Murali Gopy.

Watch it for the cringe.
12 August 2020
Only watch it if you're mentally disabled, the script is cliché, acting is ridiculous, movie is unrealistic, only good thing about the movie is that it ends, and Soubin and his dog also. Do not watch it, it's a request, a humble one.

Not bad.

Warning: Spoilers
First of all, fantastic performance by Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Suraj Venjaramood. The first few scenes were pretty cringe, to be honest. I found the film entertaining only because of Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Salim Kumar, Hareesh Kanaran and a few others. The script was too cliché. (SPOILERS AHEAD) I don't think it's possible you fall in love or get obsessed with someone you see on a newspaper. Not only is it dumb but also is not something a mentally stable person would do, no offense. Action scenes were unrealistic. They defy Physics just like 80% of Malayalam movies. Some emotional scenes were forced, but Suraj's performance truly touched me, and Vishnu Unnikrishnan also did a good job. Script could have been less cliché, direction was also that great. You can go for it, for the humour, not for anything else. Can you watch it with a typical Malayali family? Yes, you can.

Amazing!

This is film is amazing, the story isn't cliché like most of the big time movies from Mamootty and other actors at the time, the story was unique, the humour was fantastic, the climax was awesome, everything was top notch. Dileep, Innocent, Dharmajan, Kavya, KPAC Lalitha, all of them gave an amazing performance. My rating: 10/10
