Bosch: Legacy (2022– )

Good main plot but IMO too many non-essential story lines

I noticed that a lot of reviews that are 6 or lower, mention that the commercials and opening credits song affected their score. To me, that's nonsense. Bosch Legacy is a good show worthy of your time. It's not completely awful, but it's not entirely great. I rated the show low because I spent a lot of time fast forwarding thru what I thought boring. For example, the scenes of Maddie working as a cop that didn't correspond with one of the main story lines. I fast forward thru a lot of the "death by cops" shooting as well. Sure this is well acted but it just didn't make me interested enough to watch.

Very good show - just a short review

The stories in this show are very well written, and the acting is top notch. The only problem that I have with the show is that it moves very slow. It seems that the main story just drags on and on, as if the producer wanted to make a 10 episode series, instead of 8. I believe the show would have been much better if it were a 6episode series.

The Serpent (2021)

There's so much going on...

I almost stopped watching after the third episode because it just wasn't capturing me. After I finished watching the entire series, I was glad that I persevered and finished it. This man, The Serpent, is one twisted and evil, yet brilliant man. After I finished the series, I thought it would have been better with maybe 6 episodes instead of 8. However he and his accomplices did so much evil, that it would be impossible to make the series shorter. Amazingly this series is based on a true story, so it really blows me away.

The Walking Dead (2010– )

This show is NOT about zombies

I stayed away from waithis show for over a decade. The reason is that I thought,"Great. Another show about zombies. Big deal. I've seeñ that story before..." Well...Yes. Zombies, or rather "walkers", are very much prevalent throughout the entire show.

I love this program because to me, it's all about right v wrong, honour v no honour, using your intelligence, creativity,ingenuity, and your trust in your fellow humans, in order to not just survive a world that you had never known. Not just survive...but to create a community. Heck. Not a community, but a new civilisation. You will follow a band of characters who encounter a plethora of antagonists. Some of these antagonists are simply bad. And some are extremely evil and sadistic.
