The Garden of Evening Mists (2019)
Balance - man v nature, man v woman, loyalty v country
Wonderful visuals carry the tragic story of lives and loves during the difficult history of WW2 Japan v the world, and it's aftermath. Great story and great acting with a surprising twist to explain the journey upon which the movie has taken us.
If you love Japanese art and gardens you will be transported.
Coming 2 America (2021)

The High Note (2020)
The Great Ones Make you Cry...
Loved the music, loved the writing and acting.
Loved the characters. I loved it all. Such a happy accident that I dropped in on it. Never considered leaving. Sad to see it end. Excellent production.
My only regret, is that it's probably not going to have a sequel, which I'm sure would be truly wonderful.
My thanks to everyone who made this beautiful gift to the world.
Ted Lasso (2020)
So Smart, with so much Heart
I think this is my first review on IMDB. This show is worth bursting that bubble.
I never expected the intelligence, fun, pathos, and surprises, I laughed and cried and can't wait to do it again tomorrow. Terrific entertainment!! Should win awards. Look for honors for the characters of Keeley, Rebecca, Nathan, Roy, and of course Ted!!!!!
Highly recommended!
The American Side (2016)
Really good movie! You will enjoy this fun ride through Niagara Falls.
Fun movie - exciting chase through the mystery and thrills of one of our countries greatest inventors - Nikola Tesla within one of the great wonders of the US - Niagara Falls. Surprising twists and a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the inside of fascinating places like the Niagara Power Plant. It may seem slow at first, but pay attention, it all matters. You will want to buy it, it is much better the second time around when you see how things fit together. Well made, well acted, many laugh out loud moments. You get to see familiar actors in unfamiliar settings. Robert Vaughn doing very good comedy. Matthew Broderick as the Bad Guy! Greg Stuhr as a PI in over his head, and Robert Forster at his Noir best. Enjoy!
Kid Blue (1973)
Saw it in 1973 and still think it was a very good film!
This film really clicked with me. One of the first times I had seen Peter Boyle and Dennis Hopper. Really enjoyed it. I had just graduated from college. I got to see it in a sneak preview. I have looked for it ever since to see it again.
