D.B. Cooper: Where Are You?! (2022)
Netflix is really scraping bottom
Tom Colbert is a perfect example of what's wrong with "journalism" in America today. Despite the FBI dropping the case against Robert Rackstraw and more than 30 years of him not getting in any trouble, Colbert's massive journalist ego just won't let it go. He resorts to ambush interviews and all the other tabloid dirty tactics which have caused most Americans to lose trust in the media today. Netflix is really scraping bottom.
Daughter of the Wolf (2019)
Miss January vs. The Bungling Woodsmen
Bad acting teams up with a cheesy storyline, a low budget and team of trained wolves for this timeless classic. At least the scenery is nice. Miss January vs. The Bungling Woodsmen.
Unabomber: In His Own Words (2020)
Not a real documentary
When I started watching this I believed it would be a valid documentary, but I soon realized that it was more concerned with pushing a radical social philosophy than presenting unbiased facts in the form of a story. It's pretty sketchy to try and portray Theresa Kintz, John Zerzan, Tim Lewis and David Skrbina as authority figures. They are radicals who advocate violence in the name of their agenda. Ted Kaczynski is not a victim of an oppressive system. He's a cold-blooded killer of innocent people.
The Marksman (2021)
Not too bad but predictable
I always like Liam Neeson's movies. This one wasn't too bad, although it was a predictable plot.
When the bad guys shot Jim's dog I started rooting for Jim to come up with some hideous way to take them all out.
Also, at 1:18:30 this movie throws out EVERY rule of firearm safety. Never sweep someone with the muzzle of a gun, especially a 10 year old kid.
Earth Has Fallen (2021)
So cheesy it was...cheesy
Here are a few helpful tips for surviving the apocalypse from the movie Survive
-Carry bright blue backpack in order to be seen from space. (..might want to drag it through the mud a little bit..)
-Enter dark building and turn on generator and all lights before looking for snacks.
-Make signal fire when trying to elude bad guys.
-Drink moonshine from the guy who just raided your camp.
-Carry pistol that only fires blanks.
-Throw boots as a diversion for enemy gun fire. (..as opposed to anything else in the bright blue backpack..)
-Travel everywhere on roads when you are surrounded by thick forest.
-Send mass radio broadcast because you and your family are the "only ones" who know about Fort Franklin.
Not sure of the significance of repeatedly seeing the northern lights...in North Carolina..in the springtime?
Out of Death (2021)
Deliverance 2K
A weak plot and bad acting com together for a memorable cinematic experience. Even Bruce Willis can't pick up the slack when Jamie King tries a speaking role.
Army of One (2020)
There is bad.. and then there's this movie
I made it through 13 minutes and 15 seconds of this cinematic masterpiece before I gave up. Unfortunately the bad acting and poor writing can't save the worn out plot which tries to push the stereotype that anyone who lives in the country is a murderous hick. Luckily I was able to find reruns of Gilligan's Island to fill the void left by this movie..
The Division: Agent Origins (2016)
100,000 rounds of ammo can't make up for bad acting and no plot
No plot and B actors makes for a disappointing film all around.
Breach (2020)
Bruce Willis vs. Alien Barney
The good - at 1:25:27 into the movie it was impressive how Bruce was able to pilot the spaceship with an old Ampex television switcher. I used one of those for about 10 years and never knew it was capable of that..
The bad - no plot, hideous screen play and bad acting.
Even Bruce Willis couldn't save this one. Started out bad and went downhill from there.
U.F.O. (2012)
Starts out slow and goes nowhere
This is a very bad film. Gave up at 19 minutes in..
Into the Grizzly Maze (2015)
No wonder the bear is so big, it's feasting on stupid humans
Pros - Amazing scenery
Cons - Bad acting - Lacks any hint of a plot - Started bad and got worse.
Red Days (2019)
Can't believe the Oscars missed this one
True B-movie classic complete with cheezy writing, poor lighting, bad acting and zombie-baby place kicking.
This movie is destined to be a cult classic. (..it just needs to find the right cult..)
Interplanetary (2008)
Hidden Gem
Wardrobe Budget $11
Set Budget $14
Prop Budget $20
Talent Budget $0
Parking $3
C-rate Movie Priceless
This film proves that a cinematic science-fiction masterpiece can be created with a $50 budget. This film was long forgotten at the 2008 Oscars, but it was just cheezy enough to be funny.
The Foreigner (2017)
Good Movie
I've always liked Jackie Chan's goofy-action style, but this movie is far more somber. A good story start to finish.
Prepper (2016)
This might be the worst movie ever made
A truly bad film. Calls upon every derogatory stereotype that ever existed. Andrew Patterson might want to consider changing his name before he tries another film.
Hunters (2020)
Made it 22 minutes into episode 3.
Made it 22 minutes into episode 3 and that was enough.
Global Meltdown (2017)
The is a very bad movie
I was able to watch up to 20:37 before it was so bad that I gave up. 20 minutes and 37 seconds of my life that I can't have back.
Rise of the Zombies (2012)
Even Zombies Can't Escape Rush Hour Traffic
This one was so cheesy it was almost funny. Example - the most intelligent line the entire movie came when Danny Trejo uttered "ARGGGHHH" right after he was bitten by the zombie lady in the million dollar home. Then fast-forward to the closing scene when the survivors are flying off into the sunset over heavy traffic on the golden gate bridge. It is impressive that the zombies in this movie have mastered the art of commuting. WOW... who knew?
I Care a Lot (2020)
At least it has a happy ending.
This film tries to put a humorous spin on a very unethical business racket. Rosamund Pike does manage to create a character who is truly despicable, but the story is slow and the movie is disappointing. At least Marla gets what she deserves in the end.
