Besides being kind of a almost complete rip off of Sicario containing even a lot of the same soundtrack and background to horns to add intensity...

Let me get the street all these people, All these payoffs, while bringing the drugs into the United States and the quantity is in a backpack, which is probably the lightest load ever heard of. Instead of distributing it in the most lucrative drug market in the world (United States) the big plan is to cross the border to get it to Canada .. HAHAHA.. Yeah, it's almost laughable, they needed better consultants on both sides the police and the carriers, cartels and kingpins.. The agent just happens to be at the exact airport as Lawrence Fishbourne's character is hopping on a plane? Come on... and then the Canadian government CBSA at the airport wouldn't help them? Come on.

The part where the agent walks in and gives the kingpin all detailed plans on how she's going to take him down wow, who wrote that?

The cast was actually pretty great too bad that the storyline didn't have a little bit more substance and the dialogue wasn't so poorly written.

IF THEY MADE A NICKEL WITH THIS MOVIE, I'D LIKE TO START WRITING FOR THE WRITERS GUILD COME UP WITH 10 TIMES BETTER CONTENT.

Homicide: New York (2024)

In True Crime Drama.. This one STANDS ABOVE

There are a lot of documentaries out there regarding true crime. Dick Wolf has done an extraordinary job on bringing this one to the screen. I would say it's one of the best written, true crime dramas ever made. I know there's only one season so far but I hope there are many many more. People in North America all understand that New York in the 80s 90s was a completely different city going as far back as the Son of Sam murders and how proud law-enforcement was at their job. These are the cases that Mid-America never got to see they were just newsprint in New York City at the time when they happened. The nicest thing about this particular one is the honesty of the people involved, and the willingness to do their work, not for themselves for the families of the victims.. BRAVO- they say there's 1 million more stories in the city I think we need to hear them.

As far as creating, a historical drama of what went on from 1942 until the development of the age bomb, it's my humble opinion that this movie needed to be made. The government isn't always your friend and the military industrial complex has its own agenda. The government covers up what it's done because it's afraid that the people won't learn about how treacherous they can be. The way they treated Oppenheimer was a palling and an affront to one of the greatest scientist. The world has ever known. We can apologize posthumously by watching and learning the truth about what happened here. The same Cold War antics goes on even today with a media that wants to believe that Ukraine is winning this war with Russia. And will continue to win as long as the American taxpayers and the military industrial complex. Keep supplying Ukraine with what it needs. It's not True. Nobody wins in war two sides continue to hate each other. The only answer is fighting with the same amount of enthusiasm for peace.

Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies (2022)

More lies from the Narcissistic Sociopath

Everybody on Casey Anthony's side in this whole documentary are all enablers just like her parents were. The sociopathic side of her mental illness is what makes everybody against her, including her parents, and everybody gets to have a finger pointed at them the one thing in this documentary that never seem to come up very often... Yhe Nonexistent Nanny... she blamed it on the nanny the whole time and only now in this documentary did she admit that she met somebody named Zenaida Rosales, but it was just a part of the little lie. All of her misguided anger towards her parents is part of that sociopathic attack when they didn't stand up for her and they went to the grand jury and all of a sudden they didn't believe her and they believed her for 21 years.. and all this documentary is trying to do is make it so that she can walk outside and have a normal life when she did something so horrible and won't take a count for it. Maybe she didn't murder her child but she knew where she was the whole time and she knew how the child got there and the body was probably in the trunk. I trust that cops know what a dead body smells like that's been baking in a hot sun in Orlando For two or three weeks. You only have to smell it once to realize that it doesn't smell like garbage and it doesn't smells like rotten pizza. It smells like a dead body.

Casting? Atrocious

How old is really liked Idris Elba as a fine actor, but the rest of the cast of the hijackers is way off there about a scary is a cloudy day.... Nothing like having a fresh faced Millennial try and act tough... oh.. and by in large BRiTISH populace are not MEAN OR MENACING.. they should've went down to South London and picked up a bunch of street hooligans or illegal cage boxers if they wanted to portray tough... Yeah? Need to look menacing, Yeah? ... I got a hand it to Apple TV because they put out these movies fast as hell one after another and I really loved Ted Lasso, but casting Director missed the mark on this one by about 60 meters.. lol ... uhhh. 196 feet.. Yeah?

Wonderful documentary it's actually troubling that after 42 years that they would reopen the case and consider Robert Wagner and a person of interest. Quite clearly they were a couple in love. They had a beautiful family a beautiful home a beautiful life and it's a little disgusting that anyone could suggest anything else based on the fact that were available at the time or still for that matter. . Everybody always ends up looking for someone to blame when we're humans and life is fragile. It's easy to die and it can happen in a second and it doesn't take any thought.. just misthought... was wonderful to see Natalie Woods girls and how much they look like their stunningly beautiful mother.. RIP NW... we are lucky to have you whenever we play one of your movies.

Great Series

Scott. Ryan's performance is outstanding. Having a pretty complete history of criminal activities and antisocial tendencies he's spot on as an actor. I hope the series continues. I'd like to see where they take it as the storyline expands.. The character development in this series, really adjusts well, especially as you get into the third season, and these characters blossom into really interesting individuals. Careful consideration being mean when Ray goes back-and-forth between his lifestyles has been very well written. A really well done anthology of Anti Hero playbook writing.. Sopranos in Australia..

I live in Alberta and in rural Canada... I've never really watched the show, but I turned from another channel and catch the last minute and a half almost every day. 95% of every episode ends with a guy driving in a pick up a Way and a girl staring off into the distance. Wondering her future with the dude.. I just want to see the CBC is a producer of terrible television, a state owned television station that needs to go away and be defunded. This isn't Russia. We don't need a state owned government taxpayer funded liberal showpiece to tell us how wonderful we are. CBC had his place in Canada in the 60s when there was only one I'm or two stations ... yes but Canadian continent laws, the CRTC, the liberal government and the CBC should all go the way of the dinosaur.

I don't know if I missed something or if Hollywood thinks that it's a group of deep thinkers. But this movie is just plain stupid. None of it makes much sense. It has terrible story line and absolutely no point at all.. I watch the Oscars tonight and I saw it on Amazon prime and I thought I would give it a shot. But quite possibly this could be the worst movie I've ever seen in my life and it's two hours and 19 minutes I'll never get back. I actually feel like the Academy has lost all sense of hope and Hollywood is lost probably should fall into the ocean. I it's like a bad episode, of Rick and Morty... where Rick and Morty are now Chinese.

There's nothing worse than the pressure Cops put on weaker younger minds.. it's the worst case of bullying possible. COOS ALREADY HAVE A PR PROBLEM.. and stuff like this and what happened to Brendan Dassey Doesn't HELP THEM. Mental pressure is like WATERBOARDING. With enough time and water I can make an upstanding detective convinced he was a Farm Chicken. This was a disgusting overreached conclusion. The problem is that this happens OFTEN in the States. The Reid Technique has some flaws when it contained undeveloped minds and lots of interrogation time. NEVER FORGET- COOS ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND.. SAY NOTHING TO THEM EVER.. EVEN NOT GUILTY.

Netflix getting a little repetitive I saw this and thought well it might be a decent story boy was I right. This was a very well written very well acted storyline from start to finish I was pleasantly surprised. This would kind of be one that you would walk by a blockbuster and never even look at it and then when you discover it you realize that it's a fantastic movie and you don't know how you could've not watched it. Sandra Bullock does one of the best performances of a hard case that I've seen in a long time.

So far everything about this series is really well done except I really have a problem with the diary dialogue of Elsa. The philosophical rantings of an 18 year old girl that lost her boyfriend after knowing him for two weeks almost sounds like an episode of The Bachelor.

Decent story line... old Soprano Stories Galore

Really addition. Peace based on a lot of the events going on at the time in 1967/1968. Could've done without the overacting Ray Luoyang and his terrible Plastic Surgery job.. trying to be larger than his character warranted. All the other characters were fantastic. Big Puss, Junior, Silvio .. and Tony's character were developed and rich from the Original series and portrayed well by the new actors. I hope this becomes a series as expected... some great old stories to write on.

You will understand that a Cop that thinks you did a crime will do just about anything ( even illegal actions) to prove you guilty. This was an egregious case and I've been in front of a multitude of Narcissist Cops who believe they should be worshipped as ABOVE EVERYTHING. I'm a reformed former criminal and I know my fair share of how the dark side goes, how things are done.. Why things are done.. Why cops go Dirty.. how law enforcement are flipped.. Outlaw bike clubs have been flipping Coos and Prison guards for as long as there have been cops and prison guards... If I were to add my own view on this case as opinion only.. When your dealing drugs, and you don't connect any way with any organized group.. your going to get hurt.. drug dealers don't want competition they want expansion and sales.. Selling anything is still about Hierarchy... if Doug didn't have permission it may be under the radar for some time, but eventually he'd get big enough to get noticed. Probably warned.. and then probably dealt with. So my direction would be to look into the bigger dealers in the area, and who they work for... that's where I would look. Doug might even know, but is to scared to say anything.

I know that there is nothing anyone can say to Tamire Rices mother to besiege her anger or Sadness. A mistake is a mistake, sometimes mistakes come with dire consequences. Accountability is a TWO SIDED STREET. Now, I've never had any love for cops or police departments, I spent years as a career criminal and outlaw biker. But I also always recognized my own accountability in the actions I took ESPECIALLY when it came to incarceration. Police had a job to do, get me off the streets.. I tried to avoid getting caught.. There were bad cops, certainly there were. Dirty cops were Bad Cops. But then I had. Choices... if I jumped out of a car with a gun, I would EXPECT to be fired upon. If I had a car chase I would EXPECT a bad outcome. I remained ACCOUNTABLE for my actions. If I don't want to get shot by an over zealous cop I WILL COMPLY. If I had a weapon I told them I had it and I kept my fingered interlocked on my head. And certainly things still may happen, If you don't want to get shot don't force the cop to make that choice. I don't know if they will be AS ACCOUNTABLE as I am, but if you watch what's going on in the world right now it's a complete LACK OF COMMON SENSE if you think that attacking a cop will have a positive outcome. If you're being questioned and you want to be belligerent.. THERES AN OUTCOME to that behaviour.

Criminals.. BE ACCOUNTABLE.., COPS be ACCOUNTABLE and if you have a choice to comply or attack UNDERSTAND that it has CONSEQUENCES.

This series is gonna EXPLODE .. I was shocked through the whole season 2.. I feel like we know who the players are in Don Lewis' Death.. ABSOLUTELY.. that the Cop will SOLVE THIS DISAPPEARANCE.. that the Hitman is the most solid guy around ... And that Jeff is human Trash and I'm actually HAPPY that the Animals are being cared for properly... in Colorado

The next season (Season 3) is gonna be NUTS.. the second season was better than the FIRST.

This is the perfect downfall of civilization movie, in all its raw brutality. We are only a few steps from collapse at any given time on this planet. When Cash won't mean anything. Survival will be about who has the best plan. And in some places this lifestyle shown won't be a far stretch. Where there is nothing this could be reality. The meek will not inherit the earth.. only the strongest will survive. This movie should make people think.. What would be your plan?

I literally loved the writing and character development. Really a fun series and I recommend it to anyone with a little bit of a sick sense of humor. Definitely not what I expected buy I found myself laughing a full belly laugh more often than not..

Worth it.. hope they continue.

This is a terrible series full of Gendered theatrics that are most "Unrealistic" .. one good cop.. every other is MORE THAN BAD.. Criminal.. their attempt at the classic cliffhanger just keeps going on and on.. The playbill shows Ryan Phillippe even though they had their payed big star dead in the First Episode of season one. The writers know nothing about Private investigation or law enforcement.. and everyone is a bad guy... except that room full of women investigators...

Terrible... but that's Canadian Television.

The Underground Railroad (2021)

Well done, but important

I believe - DON'T take the tunnels and trains too literally, they are meant to express the distances between the stops and the fear and violence at each of the stops. The bearing witness and testimony between.. the education that was given and offered at the time is all fairly speculative to the story line. This was Cora and Mabels story... take it as that. Her runaway catcher was on his own path that lead only to his solitude and banishment from his own family of which many were overly cruel and outwardly sadistic in nature. The plantation owners and field bosses also were ripe with indignant behaviour practices and strife with injustice on an entire race. Many can thank the Quaker Community for their help in saving so many. As a Canadian we were the end of the line and the chance at a better life. Many black communities still exist from these most humble beginnings. In the quest to be in the right or wrong of things I like our place even though our own story is never barely mentioned. But we're good with that. Canadian Black settlements include North Preston, Sunnyville, Lincolnville, Tracadie and Upper Big Tracadie and AfricVille in Nova Scotia, Priceville, Shanty Bay, South Buxton and Dresden in Ontario, the Maidstone/Eldon area in Saskatchewan and Amber Valley in Alberta. Our little gift to history.

Wonderful Acting and Story

Lends itself to the credo "Careful who you mess with" Phoenix is the best actor of our time. This movie kind of reminds me of a Pre Story to "the "Hanna" movies and exactly how they got there. It does have a few dead spots but when it does it typically lends itself to actually entering Joe's head.
