Mano po Legacy: The Family Fortune (2022)
I love this!
I love this series where every character has their own flaws and faults that makes them human. The tension and drama is so good! I love that the series is short that it didn't make it longer that it gets crappier. It even gets satisfying ending and conclusion.
Radyo (2001)
I like this one even it has a mix of comedy and thriller
Please do not compare this movie to the Hollywood movies, especially where there's a genre of thriller and comedy together. Even though that there are some or few of cliche scenes, I really love the characters, the story, and the build-up. There is a consequence of ever action they make, especially to DJ Milla, where she makes fun to Ruben (Jeffy Quizon) saying that he's a drug user and not playing his song request for his lover, Myla. (just because he loves Myla) And later he decides on getting back not just at the two ladies who caused his desolation but girls in general that he starts to murder them one by one.
Who Killed Captain Alex? (2010)
I love this! I wanna watch this over and over again! I even want to support Wakaliwood!
This movie is so good! Despite that the limited budget and all the talks about the VFX, it really shows that they have a great spirit of making this film! This was made in a microscopic budget in a third world country in which the director got his whole community involved in the production to make this film.
I already watched this movie on YouTube and I watched this over and over and over again and I still laughing and loving this movie.
The rating of this movie is so much higher than some of the Hollywood movies. There are some that are cynical, repetitive, predictable, and unoriginal movies just to make money. It was clear that they make movies to make money. But here, this great movie production shows that they have to make money to make movies. And they did!
This movie really differs from any movies. The dedication, the actors and actresses, the whole Wakaliwood film, the great VJ Emmie in the microphone, the SUPA kicker action scenes, the hilarious VFX... Everything! Combine all of these and you get to witness the great movie of "Who Killed Captain Alex".
