Hijack (2023)

Ignore the obvious flaws and you'll enjoy this show

So let me get the obvious out of the way. This could never happen like this. I'm a pilot and almost everything about the aviation side of this show is about as wrong as you can get.

So if you can suspend your disbelief about the aviation, tech, firearms, policing and politics... you can actually enjoy this.

The suspense and trying to figure out how things are going to pan out makes this a pretty enjoyable watch in my view.

It could be better of course, but there is plenty here to get you engaged and the characters have plenty of depth to make them interesting and three dimensional.

So just put aside your objections to the obvious flaws, and enjoy the ride.

Into the Deep (2020)

I had no idea there was an Aussie doco crew filming when she went missing

This was compelling viewing. You get an insight into the man and the people around him before, during and after the incident.

I haven't seen any other videos on this and so this was the first time I got to see this in depth. Was very obvious that he was a obviously a psychopath and very manipulative. Even the people around him that trusted him seemed to quickly realise he was capable of what he was accused of.

There were many times I was left with my mouth open aghast at what I was watching or hearing. So very sad what happened to her and it's clear she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Fascinating doco.

The Gray Man (2022)

Silly but a lot of fun

Ridiculous and fun. Simple as that. Worth it just to see Chris Evans as a bad guy. Apparently I need to type more characters to post this review. So let me just say that if you're looking for a quality movie that leaves you thinking afterwards. This isn't that.

It's pure escapism and doesn't take itself too seriously. Action packed from the start to end. I really enjoyed this. So much so that it's the first time I'm leaving a review.

Wow they really require a lot of characters before I can submit this review. Hopefully telling about right club is allowed. Honestly this movie was silly. But you'll enjoy it if your not too uptight.
