Final Destination 2 (2003)
Terrifyingly....
dull.
I myself loved the first movie. The characters were fleshed out enough so you cared for them, and the death scenes were detailed and interesting. I admit I wasn't at the edge of my seat -- it just isn't comfortable there. Now, I went to the movie theater expecting a dull, boring sequel, and I wasn't surprised. Firstly, the characters were dull, and Kimberly came off as a dull and whiney priss. Burke was an interesting character, but they chose not to explore him. (Spoilerness ahead) There were some good parts to this movie. I *loved* that Clear Rivers (Ali Larter) got more screentime, but I was disappointed at her bitchyness. I suppose being locked up for so long and no one being able to say your name right struck a nerve. (it's pronounced claire, not clear.) But a lot of the deaths were lame. Tim (James N. Kirk)'s scenes were interesting, and the tension was really building up, then he gets smashed by a falling sheet of glass. Big whoop, I'm so scared. Another thing, the way Alex was killed was horrible. The mentally strong, lovable character from the first movie is crushed by a falling brick. How creative. Also, the way Clear was killed really p*ssed me off.
Overall, I give this a 3/10. I truly don't know how ANYONE could find this film decent. WAY too much gore, horrible acting, no character development, and no one can even say Clear's name right for god's sake xx;
Fastlane (2002)
Someone sure liked "The Fast and the Furious"...
When I first saw the commercials, I pretty much thought it'd be a hit, a really good show (which seems to be rare on Television now-a-days). But when I watched it, I was greatly --- no --- deeply disappointed. How the show tries to catch the viewers attention with all the 'action scenes' really messes it up. I wonder if the creator ever saw "The Fast and the Furious".... Anyways, to wrap this up, I know I shouldn't judge it by only seeing the first episode (I wanted to change the channel.. But nooooooo), but already I can see it's not going to go far. Not to be offensive, but I saw more progress in That '80s Show.. 2/10 (The acting.)
Dejimon furontiâ (2002)
Season Four of the series..
This series has recently began to air in Japan. I, myself, have watched most of it. The main people are (Last Name, First Name) Kanbara Takuya, Minamoto Kouji, Orimoto Izumi, Shibayama Junpei, and Himi Tomoki. This time, they themselves turn into Digimon.
This is a pretty good series, and I really like it. I hope it doesn't get ignored beings there has been so many different seasons of Digimon, people think it's old, I hope people like it, because I, myself, enjoyed it very much.
If you're in the Americas, watch for it this fall. I really suggest you watch it when it comes to the U.S., because any TRUE Digimon fan would...
The Care Bears (1986)
Wonderful
Give The Care Bears A chance...
This TV Series is a great way for children to learn the way to be good and nice. With all your favorite Characters, such as Tenderheart Bear, they'll love watching it! Teaching good things, plus funny adventures, this show is a perfect pass-time for children of any age.
9.7/10!
FernGully 2: The Magical Rescue (1998)
Magical?
I really found the first FernGully movie interesting, and liked the idea it got across to young children. Now, the sequel to the hit is about Crysta, of course, and all of her friends. First it's all happy and everything. Everyone in FernGully is having a high-ol'-time. But then something happens...
Two poachers ("Boss" and Mac) come to the woods with two dogs. The two then kidnap the poor baby animals and take them to the circus. On the way out of the forest, they also manage to burn it down. Now, busy with regrowing trees, FernGully puts the fetching of the animals job on the shoulders of Pips and his gang, along with Batty Koda.
Anyways, I was watching this the other night out of boredom, and even laughed some. I think it is a good sequel that lives up to the first FernGully and encourage parents to buy it for their children to add to their movie collection.
The Return of the Borrowers (1993)
Magnificent!
When I was younger, the stories of the Borrowers always fascinated me, now that there is a new movie with John Goodman, who puts on a good act, the spark has returned. This particular Borrowers movie is very interesting. In "The Return Of The Borrowers", Pod, Himily, and their daughter Arrietty, decide to move. Throughout the movie they encounter humans and animals alike. This would have to be my favorite of the Borrower movies because I like the idea of the Borrowers out in the world, encountering dangers and beauties alike. I would have to give this show a 10/10! You must watch it.
