The acting was fine. Everything was fine. I won't tell you why I only gave it 5 stars. I can't because I don't like to write spoilers. There is one reason I want to to watch this movie. Something happens early on. If you can figure what it is, and turn what you would do if you were some of the characters into what you do in real life it would probably mean you'd miss most of the story in real life and probably save it. Can you spot what it is?

I liked the story but it leaves a lot of loose ends. That bothers me. It hints at a sequel or a series but I'm totally unaware that anything came of it. The story is fairly new to me which gave it at least 5 stars. I didn't give it 10 because I get irritated if it's just part of another untold story.

This movie is a little more serious than a lampoon. It's got adult humor and some vulgar as well. It's a crazy, funny, scary road trip gone wrong. The acting was fine except the youngest character didn't look like a teenager to me. He did a good job of portraying a disaffected suburbanite teen except that he just looked and sounded older. I rated it only seven stars because the teen didn't seem teen and I could too easily predict the end. But if it's over five stars I still think it's a good movie.

The film begins with "Inspired By True Events". I'm not as big on detective stories as I am on spooky stuff. This one makes me lament that good acting doesn't always get rewarded more often.
I gave this movie 10 stars because I was impressed by it. I won't spoil it by going into detail. Everybody has their opinion about reality and the supernatural. This offers one but only in some sense of the subject. The dialog covers the angles pretty well.

The Title Is The Answer

Put simply this movie is a story about a forgotten story and the interim of trying to piece things together before they go looking for answers again. You know, like relationships that seemed so right and went wrong. The acting was great. The plot was intriguing. I gave it 6 for that reason. It's lacking 4 because the ending lacked closure in so many ways.
