Scorpion (2014)
Entertaining but it's absolute nonsense
I'm struggling to understand why anyone who would even remotely call himself a geek would put his name to this nonsense, let alone a supposed "genius". Almost every episode is riddled with nonsense solutions that are completely illogical and sometimes just plain wrong. Everything from hacking which appear as just nonsense flickering colours on the screen to cutting holes in steel with a pen sized blow torch which was only with them so they could repair a network cable which is again, nonsense, nobody would EVER repair a network cable with a blow torch. Then they track a late 80s or early 90s Ferrari with the vin number supposedly linked to its onboard computer. Tech which simply doesn't exist isn't hat car and don't get me started on the drug lord that somehow manages to remote control an RV (steering and everything). I've just finished season one and I'm left absolutely bewildered as to what sort of genius would claim to be one of the writers for this utter nonsense. Episode after episode is just blatantly gibberish to anyone who is even remotely "tech". The whole thing looks and feels like a massive ego boost for the guy (who supposedly also writes the stories) but honestly, nothing could be more damaging to your reputation than this. Having said that, my wife loves it so if you can get past the frustratingly bad writing I guess it can't be all that bad... if you're a geek though, prepare to be immensely frustrated by all the absolute nonsense.
Spy Intervention (2020)
What an absolute load of bollocks...
As it starts you're presented with mind numbingly bad special effects that appear to be drawn onto the cut by a 12 year old post production and yet it's somehow amusing but just as you're being amused by it... it stops, and the weak storyline takes over. What little moments there are that are mildly ok are soon drowned out by the huge swathes of nonsense and then the boredom sets in. This is one of very few movies in this world that I have started watching and not finished, no matter how bad the others were, I still finished them... but I couldn't get through this. It was painful.
Teeth (2007)
Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen
It's silly, ridiculous, incoherent, and they somehow also managed to make the fact that a chick has teeth in her snatch boring. How the hell did they do that??? I've seen some really bad movies and you can usually at least laugh at the bad acting or lack of story but this is just complete nonsense. Avoid it.
La La Land (2016)
Critics are just tasteless idiots ticking boxes
There is absolutely nothing special about this at all but the sheer number of so called "critics" raving about how wonderful it is will have you questioning what crazy tick-boxes they have that make a good movie in their eyes (or maybe how much they were paid to say it was good?). It's almost as if they don't watch the same movie as the rest of us. I don't get it? They make a movie like they used to 50 years ago and the world creams their pants. Why not just watch an ACTUAL 50 year old movie? Most of them are better than this anyway. I haven't felt so strongly about such an absurdly crap waste of time since that dribble "slumdog millionaire" won every award going. Just like that film, I watched this questioning how society could possibly think it was Oscar material while pondering how some of these insane "critics" got their jobs in the first place... *facepalm*
