Humor Me (2017)
Great movie
Jermaine Clements is such a clever comedian and seeing him with Elliot Gould just shows this even mire. He certainly held his own with one if the greats. Annie Potts once again shows her talent. I loved this movie.

Separation City (2009)
I loved this film
At last a New Zealand film about real people in real situations. This film is written by Tom Scott a political journalist and one of New Zealand's best loved satirical cartoonists. His own real life experiences are evident throughout the film as the characters move from one hilarious situation to another. Set mainly in Wellington, New Zealand's capital and home of parliament, it shows the beauty of Wellington and the real New Zealand character. The actors are very believable and so funny that I was laughing out loud in the theater. My only complaint was that it wasn't longer. This is a great film about friends and the frailty of familiarity. It has great insight and will touch all who see it. My suggestion. Just get out and see it.
Fired! (2007)
My suggestion. Pass on this one!
I am a comedy/stand up fan from way back and am always on the lookout for a good film to add to my collection. I actually bought this DVD thinking that it was a comedy film containing some big stand up names. I was attracted by Sarah Silverman's name on the cover and also the reference to Woody Allen. Sarah appeared for a full 60 seconds and Woody, well he never appeared at all. Even Sarah looked confused - no really! The Director obviously couldn't work out whether to make a serious film or a comedy film and unfortunately has failed at both. Overall I consider the film a fraud. My newly purchased copy is now sitting in the trash can but at least I have a new DVD cover.
