Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (2023)
*Egg*cellent Adventure!
In contrast to 2000's Chicken Run, This Successor is a refreshing installment, with some members returning to reprise their roles such as Lynn Ferguson as Mac, Imelda Staunton as Bunty, Jane Horrocks as Babs and Of Course Miranda Richardson as The Malicious Mrs Melisha Tweedy, some actors/actress have come to replace the main counterparts, Thwandie Newton, David Bradley, Zachary Levi, Daniel Mays, Romesh Ranganathan and so forth, Bella Ramsey is set playing the newest member of the flock Molly
Chicken Run: The Dawn of The Nuggest was fun, exhilirating, one for the whole family to watch, great design of Tweedys new farm, synopsis was essentially revelant and overall a good family made film, something the fans have been waiting over 20 years to see!
Monster (2022)
A Nightmare Reality, Peters is Brilliant
It has been over 30 years since the Incarceration of The Milwaukee Cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer, The horrific Story of this man's horrific story is brought to Life through the eyes and ears of Emmy Award Winning Director Ryan Murphy, I knew after watching the Trailer, the Gruesome Nightmare Fueled depiction that was about to be released, After watching this gruesome Documentary series, I couldn't help but to question how painful and traumatizing it was for the victims of the families this devil had done to their children, Evans is brilliant, the Attention to detail, remarkable acting, costume designs, location sets, the ability to put his mindset to that of what Dahmers was must have taken a great deal of strong mental capability, The first victim Tracy Edwards was a straight mind blowing horror nightmare experience a creepy setting and a taste of the many grotesque things to come, The inticement and grooming mechanism of a promise of paying him $50 for photographs, leading to his apartment from Hell, this man isn't Freddy nor Jason not even Michael Myers, HE IS REAL!
The lack of police help and the dismissal of witness statements was sickening and frustrating in the sense that the injustice of the fellow African-American community allow Dahmer to continue with his heinous crime spree,
This documentary was well preserved and kept to an advantage that it does indeed capture the persona and overall living Nightmare of who Jeffrey Dahmer, A messed up and sick minded individual who later suffered the consequences of his dire and disgusting crime spree he swept across the Milwaukee state and destroyed the lives of the victims families, Please take caution whilst watching this Documentary, it is not for everyone to see, It will shock you!
The Vampire Diaries (2009)
Brilliant, a must see.
Vampires, Witches, Werewolves and many other evils are running amock in the town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. But before i get into the review I must be frank about a point or two,
Firstly in contrast to the likes of The Twilight Saga, as much as I enjoyed that also, it seems to me that The Vampire Diairies delievered a more refreshing capture and a better story line than The Twilight Saga did (that is just my opinion by the way!) Whilst i will try my best to give a good review, i believe it will only make better sense for me to break down the backgrounds of the characters.
The story resolves around the lives of the youngsters and "undead" youngsters and the many evils they tackle along their journeys as trouble breaks out in many forms
We have Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) a young high school teen who becomes infatuated with the likes of hearthrobs that of The Salvatore Brothers Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) 2 vampire brothers bonded by their thirst to blood and their just comedic humorous, this dynamic duo really spring the show into action . But this chemistry sparks an unlikley connection to that fact that unbeknownst to Elena she is a mirror image to a evil Doppelganger by the name of Katherine Pierce/Katerina Patrova, an old flame of the Salvatore Brothers and the mere responsibility to their undead state being bloodthirsty vampires.
Another interesting note is that Stefan and Damon although brothers share an usual bond which seperates their personailties with a fine line. Stefan the good cop sceneario whos intentions are to preserve mankind by any means necessary, whilst Damon on the other hand is a selfish, unwitty, happy go-lucky killer who surprisingly finds himself becoming more help to his brother and their friends whilst continuing to blame himself for being simply "selfish"
We now turn our attention to Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) a witch whos powers proven worthy to everyones problems but it really seem to me that she was juat merely a target to means to an end simply.
Many characters are introduced in the show but i do not want to spoil too much for those who havent watched The Vampire Diaires
I was introduced to this show by a friend and i can say i am impressed and really do recommend this show.
The Anomaly (2014)
What a film?!
The Anomaly is one of them films you probably most likely to find late one night on them kind of Television channels that aire the cheapest and lamest of low budget B-Movies. Prefably here in England on FilmFour, Channel 5 or ITV 4.
Noel Clarke directs and also stars in this as Ryan Reeve, an Ex Soldier who has suddenly lost his identity. He doesnt seem to know who he is or where he is from or even when he is from! He discovers he is on the run from a institute who conspires to dominate mankind, Reeve's mission is to kill the bad guys, stop the institute and basically become the hero of the day, only downfall he notices he has approximately over 9 minutes to do so, resulting himself being respawned into different places at different times each time,
American sexy boy Ian Somerhalder (From The Vampire Diaries) is the villian of this Miniority Report forward slash styled thriller.
It is quite unusually consuming for the fellow viewer to consider as one of them gags on the side during a Saturday Night in whilst eating a takeaway of Junk Food. Not a must see but definitely worth the laugh that a B-Movie stylised film it really is. Cannot knock Clarke's effort though to be fair.
