This movie is incredible. I have seen this in japanese, and i really enjoyed it...it recaps the movie, then brings on the new ending...any Eva fan will appreciate it *note* this movie should be watched by parents firast and deemed appropriate for those under 14, in fact, they shouldn't watch it at all

The BFG (1989)
Okay

Well, you really can't expect much from a movie that has a song about flatulence(really!I hardly could believe it myself! Flying around because of it, geez..). it really was just okay, something kids can enjoy, but will probably annoy anyone older than 10. it is cute, however, but this isn't the perfect family film for kids under 4 because of some big scary giants. As I said, when a movie has a song about flatulence, it is really meant for little kids.

Interesting

A pretty good adaptation of the book, it stayed sort of true to the book. There are a few things that got cut, but all over it is an enjoyable, fanciful visual of the book. Some people may be disappointed, due to the fact that one of the rooms leading up to the last room where the sorcerer's stone is was cut. A definite must see for die-hard potter fans! I can't wait for the prisoner of azkaban. By the way I must note some parts seemed "rushed".

Wow!!!

Wow!!! This movie blew me away! Sure, it's gory, but it is well woven. All in all it is a heart-pounding, somehow not scary adventure in a mythical japanese setting.I think this is a classic. There is a lot of splatter-vision however, weak tummies won't like it, because of beheadings, ect.

WARNING:SPOILERS GALORE!!!
4 November 2001
Warning: Spoilers
I have read the plot story and I must say this looks exciting...The actual plot goes that a boy named Yukinari gets transported from 40 years ago to the present time of ash and friends.. Then they try to save celebi from Vicious(who is not Jesse and James's son from the future...aww)What is interesting about this movie is the identity of the kid from the past...WARNING HERE COMES THE BIG SPOILER!!!During the credits you see a bunch of stuff..but the biggest thing is this...during the movie Yukinari draws a picture of Celebi in his sketchbook..which he takes with him when he goes back to his own time 40 years ago...but during the credits we see tracy cleaning up around Oak's lab...going through Professor Oak's stuff(now thats kind of disturbing...what is he doing that for...)eventually he finds a sketchbook....he flips through it..and finds the picture of Celebi Yukinari drew....but it's faded...as though it was in the drawer for 40 years....This kid was Professor Oak when he was 13(and you thought his hair was funny now, back then he had hair like Cardcaptor sakura minus the little pigtails)!!!!I'm sure of this because in the japanese series Professor Oak's first name is Yukinari(found out in japanese pokemon 2000!!!(in english its Samuel...) Isn't that cool? I can't wait to see it in english!!!!!! (now you get the reason for the picture in Kurt's house in pokemon gold/silver)
