A Gnome Named Gnorm (1990)
It's a classic.
When I was younger I watched over and over. I'm in my late 30s and still absolutely love watching this movie. It has a great cast and Gnorm is an unforgettable character. I've been quoting the movie for years. Unfortunately, I'm one of very few who remember this goofy movie. It has all the classic 80s/early 90s police movie tropes, along side the standard humor and action. Gnorm's character design seems to be ahead of it's time in my opinion. His style holds up to movies today. I personally still love the live action puppeteering over CGI l. So, I might be a albeit bias when it comes to the character. I highly recommend giving it a go.
Forspoken (2023)
Brilliant!
Absolutely amazing game play. It was compelling and the banter was hilarious. I'm really not sure what the negative reviews are about. It almost made me not play, but I'm glad I did. The demo helped, but you absolutely need to start from the beginning or you will not get the best idea of how the game plays out.
The graphics are beautiful and the characters are awesome. The story from one world to the next was a nice refreshing change. I love how creepy the creatures in the game look, too.
Try not to look too far into the negative reviews. I think it comes from a bias of hatred toward certain groups, if I were to hazard a guess.

My kids love it!
The plot is certainly goofy, but the voice acting is great. The beginning had me hooked and my daughter laughing out loud. My only dislike is that the ending got a little confusing, but made for a nice happy ending overall. Other than that, the characters are adorable and its a movie my kids have asked to watch over and over.
