The Lady of Heaven (2021)
Terrible
The most exceedingly terrible film an individual might at any point watch it is an exercise in futility and cash anyway If you need to torment anybody simply make them watch this film they will 100% disdain you forever and won't ever address you again.
Silence (2016)
1
At over two and a half, nearly three, hours, 'Silence' is a little overlong and the slow pace may be a challenge for some. Long lengths are not a problem usually in films, especially when a film is continually riveting enough to justify it, neither is slow pacing when more often than not there is a reason for being so.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
1
Do a surprisingly great job as Batman. The casting could have been disastrous but Affleck gives a brooding intensity to the character and more range than he usually exudes. Other bright spots in the cast are Jeremy Irons' very amusing Alfred, Amy Adams' feisty if somewhat underused Lois Lane and particularly Gal Gadot's positively show-stopping.
Whisky Galore! (2016)
if you have
Set in 1941, a Hebridean island is running low on whiskey due to rationing. When a ship capsizes carrying 50,000 cases of Scotch whiskey to America. The locals decide to bring it ashore while Captain Wagget of the Home Guard must stop them.
Arrival (2016)

The acting, special effects and all were very nice. I have no complaints about that at all. As for the story, I generally enjoyed it but felt that the whole concept of time being cyclical a bit strange....not bad, just odd. Overall, a good film but one that doubtless leaves many confused and bored.
Rogue One (2016)
for the
Not being as much as a genre landmark or as influential but is certainly better than any of the prequel trilogy films combined and along with 'The Force Awakens' one of the better 'Star Wars' films since 'The Return of the Jedi'. With this being said, 'Rogue One' is going to be reviewed as if considered a standalone chapter.
Hell or High Water (2016)
as discussed
), 'Hell or High Water' was one of the year's best-looking films. It has a rustic Western look in terms of setting that is very effectively evoked and it is stunningly shot. It should have been a contender for Best Cinematography, but at least got some recognition for the.
Me Before You (2016)

Will Traynor (Sam Claflin) who was run over by a motorcycle two years ago. Will is bitter at losing his globe-trotting outgoing lifestyle with his girlfriend Alicia and high-finance friends. He is cold to the quirky Lou at first. Alicia announces that she's getting married to his former best friend. Then Lou overhears Camilla arguing with her husband Stephen (Charles Dance) about Will's plan to get euthanized in Switzerland in six months. Lou struggles to give Will a reason for living as male nurse Nathan helps her to understand his pain.
La La Land (2016)

This sort of downbeat ending didn't really bother me...it was realistic. But somehow "La La Land" muddled it all up...and left you with a confusing ending that PROBABLY was like "Umbrellas"...but maybe wasn't. I found this to be a huge problem. Aside from this, I.
The Accountant (2016)
everything is
Action to make up for it for fans of action. Look also for good performances from Affleck's assigned assistant Anna Kendrick, Cynthia Addai Robinson as Simmons's assistant at Treasury and contact hit man Jon Bernthal who has a most unusual relationship dynamic with Affleck.
Suicide Squad (2016)
for the next
You see him playing himself in wooden fashion here and plays Deadshot too jovially, something that Deadshot isn't really, that he also had two introductions gives an indication that the writers.
Bad Santa 2 (2016)
really
I'm not going to sit here and say that there aren't any laughs because there are plenty of very good laughs. The only problem is that the laughs are so scattered out that you can't help but get somewhat bored by the paper-thin plot as well as the silly mother-son relationship.
Better Watch Out (2016)
have
It you had better know what to do with it and how to handle it. Director Chris Peckover also co-wrote the screenplay with Zack Kahn and I give both men credit for trying to do something different. Sure, the film's first quarter borrows from some other horror movies b.
Moana (2016)
asad
Just see the film for yourself. Suffice to say, it is a real crowd pleaser due to an interesting, stunning computer animation and very original story as well as some interesting characters. I particularly liked Moana as she was strong and likableand not someone needing.
Deadpool (2016)
ok
Yes, there are tons and tons of explosions and action...that left me pretty cold...as did some of the ultra violence. What I did like was how Deadpool occasionally broke through the fourth wal.
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
nah
The dialogue is corny (in fact, to me the dialogue is the least good thing about 'Hacksaw Ridge' in general and the element that rings true the least) and the sentimentality is laid too thick (this is also particularly true in the slightly underdeveloped romance).
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)
yes
Bit of time to get going, with a slow and overlong introduction that tended to also be confusingly written. Jon Voight is wasted as a character with not much personality or development and with a subplot that practically is forgotten about, both by the viewer and by the film. It is too.
Doctor Strange (2016)
3
R but not with her performance. Benedict Cumberbatch really makes the interesting title character his own and knocks it out the park. The standout of the rest of the cast is Tilda Swinton, wonderfully mysterious as the film's most interesting character and played w.
Office Christmas Party (2016)
2
When a jerk of a CEO (Jennifer Aniston) threatens to shut down her brother's (Clay Vanstone) compnay, he and Josh (Jason Bateman) try to score one big deal to save it. The only problem is that it doesn't go as planned so they propose to have a massive Christmas party to show the person how great their company can be.
