Sister, Sister (1994–1999)
Good show, i miss it!

Well i thought it was particularly good. The average age of the audience for this show were young teenagers and i doubt they are really looking for an emmy award winning performance. It was nice seeing the sisters grow up through the years and in my opinion it had everything that a family show needs - laughter, hot guys like ronreaco lee and marques houston and it was packed full of interesting scenarios so on the whole-good entertainment!!

No, No, No

Spare yourselves the indignity of watching this film. The plot was weak- in fact i doubt there is even a plot in this film. It is only helped along by the lead stars attempt to create a interesting interpretation of a woman in angst dealing with her sex life by exploring others. But other than that its a big no, no, no.

Surprising

One dark winters night a few years back- i started to flick through the channels when i came across this film. Boy was i in for a shock. Not having seen this subject (incest) tackled on film before i was amazed at how it was portrayed. It did have its comical elements which i guess did bring some light relief but if you are easily grossed out then be prepared to be disgusted. Its not that it was highly graphical but just the thought of a mother and son having sex totally sickened me. I carried on watching to the end in hope that it was a figment of Rays imagination or a dream but unfortunately i was disappointed with the results.

Very moving...

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I laughed at its funny bits and cried in the sad bits. Robert Downey Jnr was excellent as the leading character and the bus passengers provided some light relief. Everyone should have friends like these! Marvellous!

"A modern day Emma"
23 December 2001
Despite some peoples negative view of this film, I believe that it is a well thought out film. It offers a satirical view of the rich Beverly Hills teenagers, which was in its time, fresh and exciting. It paved the way for further film creations such as "She's All That, "10 Things I Hate About You" and "Never Been Kissed". Amy Heckerling (who also directed Emma) exceeded herself when she created this film.
