Excellent performance and edge of your seat

It's no shock that Aubrey Plaza is absolutely killing every role she has been in. But I would say this movie really has you following this antihero around and rooting for her.

A story of a late 20-something year old that is down on her luck and has a mountain of student loans, becoming increasingly more desperate to stay above water, she accepts a job as being a credit card/retail scammer. As relationships form and loyalties begin to get questioned, things begin to take a dangerous turn.

In a world where we never see the face of the scammer, this movie almost has you rooting for them. Or at least their safety.

Interesting story

I listened to the podcast, so I did know the background on this case. The case is very interesting, so I was intrigued.

It seems like intentionally they don't want you to really like any of the characters.

Personally, I do love when a show is narrated, but it feels almost silly the way that this was done.

If I were a family member or friend of Betsy Faria and watched how this show was framed, I would be upset. Somehow, they managed to take a heartbreaking case and turn it almost 'silly'.

I say check out the show, but keep in mind that this was a woman (Betsy) whose story deserves to be told.
