Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005)
This is a true masterpiece based on an Oscar-Winning film!
I am a big fan of Wallace & Gromit (and anything from Aardman in general). So, playing this game was a truly exciting thing for me. I had only seen trailers for it on the dvd release of The Curse of The Were-Rabbit (2005) and until last fall, I always wanted to play it. Luckily, my father managed to get the game for my XBOX and I enjoyed playing it!
There are a ton of great things to do in this game:
- You can catch Bunnies (just like in the movie)
- Help the neighbors with their crops
- Play fun mini-games
- And more!
I give this game 10 out of 10 stars for it creativity, humor, and faithfulness to the film. If you like Wallace & Gromit, I'd say this is one "smashing" game to pick up!
Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie (2002)
Set Sail for Adventure!
In 2002, Big Idea Productions decided to take VeggieTales to the next level with a feature length movie based on the story of Jonah and the Great Fish. The movie was released in theaters in October of 2002 and it was a success, meaning it made a great splash (pun definitely intended) and made tons of money (Money is no object - Jonah). Archibald Asparagus plays Jonah, a man who delivers messages of God's word to everyone in town. One night, God asks him to deliver a message to Nineveh - where people are very mean and will slap you in the face with a smelly fish. Jonah decides not to go there and soon ends up in deep water. Watch the movie and you'll see what i mean.
The Cat in the Hat (2003)
Who cares if this movie flopped?
I actually enjoy this movie - Yes, you read that right - I like this film. It actually has a great sense of humor that films like Shrek (also starring Mike Myers) have handled over the years. Sadly, the film was hated for having too many inappropriate content. But hey, at least DreamWorks and Universal made something great. Also, I'm not the only person on this planet to like this movie. Mike Myers and Alec Baldwin have excellent performances in this feature and I would recommend this movie to anyone who like raunchy humor and films based on books.
