Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023)
Abomination
As a lifelong fan of the franchise, who collected literally everything ever made including all the toys, the original black and whites that got them known, the cartoon series...this is absolutely the worst adaptation ever made. Like what was Seth thinking??? I had to walk out on it. Just wow. Like what kind of drugs were the people who made this movie on? Those must be those next level drugs. Those Star Wars type drugs. Those Marvel drugs. Indiana Jones type drugs. Splinter was horrible and goofy, the turtles are morons. I looked forward to some of the real voice actors for the enemy mutants, but the goofy gimmicky animation concept for this movie ruins it for me. Turtles weren't covered in ooze in this one. It was urine.
Benny Loves You (2019)
The reviews for this movie are funnier than the movie itself, sign 🤣 of the times I guess, so much stupid going on in these the times
If you couldn't tell by the cover art, this movie was supposed to be over the top ridiculous. Think Killer Klowns, Ghoulies, etc. I think it's so ridiculous that people would go into this with the expectation of having something actually scary and not totally bonkers and off the wall. There are funny parts. The Terminator 2 line made me laugh hard. It's not the best, most definitely. But these reviews are hilarious to me. Who are these people on here?? Probably have an IQ under 100. I think they should find a solid object to bang their heads against, maybe that'll stir up common sense and some brain activity. I guess I just don't understand how people can be so uniformed about anything in this world they consume nowadays, and then want to complain about it. I guess those are the people complaining at a McDonald's and then eating someone's else's spit.
Prey (2022)
Dances with Predators
Most definitely the worst movie of the franchise. That's a hard thing to top, too. A lot of bot reviews on this flick here obviously. There really is only 1.5 good Predator movies, starting in 1987. Other than Predator 1 and kind of no 2, the rest are just so horribly bad. Watching Prey reminded me of how the Terminator franchise was effectively destroyed as well. Not as bad as the Robocop reboot, but Prey is one of those movies you try to finish, but keep checking how much time is left. I want to meet the execs that approved this production, because I can come up with some worse ideas.
