Bardaasht (2004)
Lord Bobby is here with a masterclass of action and drama with a movie dealing with police brutality.
First of all, after watching Animal which also starred Lord Bobby Deol, I realised why he deserved his comeback with the movie. So, I watched all his movies from the 90s and late 2000s. Here I find this masterpiece that's yet to trend named Bardaasht. I watched the whole movie and OMG, Lord Bobby and the whole cast took this movie to the next level. Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Rahul Dev, and Tara Sharma all did superb in their roles and deserves a lot of credibility for the scenes dealing with thrill and emotion. What a roller coaster ride by Eeshwar Niwas who directed Dum, Shool, and many other movies. I recommend this movie and it's available on YouTube.
Plus this movie deserves a re-release in the theaters so we can see Lord Bobby on screen and listening to Janaabe Ali in the theaters while dancing!
Om Jai Jagadish (2002)
a Cult Classic that's aging well
We all know movies like Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, Satyaprem Ki Katha, and 12th Fail all give a message but this movie Om Jai Jagadish was one of the most heartwarming and emotional movies I haven't seen in a long time since i've been a loyal Abhishek Bachchan fan since Dhoom. I absolutely loved Anil Kapoor's performance as Om which he's more similar to Balbir Singh from Animal (which Kapoor also played). Fardeen Khan did good as a mechanic. Mahima, Urmila, Tara all did magnificent and slayed in the whole movie. Overall everyone should watch this masterpiece at all times 10/10!
