Chithha (2023)
An ACADEMY AWARD winning movie!
ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES IN RECENT TIMES.
Every single person involved in the project has done justice to this movie.
Take it from me, have seen multiple times how a lack of good direction and screenplay can do injustice to a really good story. But this movie defied it all!
Watched the Hindi version of this movie in Hotstar a couple of days ago and can't stop appreciating it since then. In awe of the director and the entire crew how they have beautifully handled such a sensitive issue. Siddharth is one of those rare and exceptional actors who have gone unappreciated and undervalued for a long time. Can't even imagine how difficult it must have been to portray both happiness and grief at the same time, but this man has done it! And God, that one particular scene is incredible!
The movie begins with a light-hearted note with usual things happening in their daily lives but the way in which the story eventually unfolds to its tragic peak, is such incredible. The incidents as shown in the movie sent jitters down my spine.
Hope this movie makes it to the Academy award nominations and also wins it because it really deserves the best!
Scoop (2023)
If you know something is coming from Hansal Mehta, you should watch it without even reading reviews
IT'LL BE INJUSTICE TO CINEMA NOT TO WATCH A SHOW OR MOVIE THAT HAS COME FROM HANSAL MEHTA.
Hats off to Hansal Mehta for such beautiful portrayal of his characters!!!
Hansal Mehta is known for developing strong characters in such a subtle way, the way he did with the character of Harshad Mehta and now that of Jagriti Pathak, or I can tell trying to show the other side of the people who have been made infamous by the otherwise vicious media trials. While watching the movie, you can correlate it so well with the stories of Rhea Chakraborty, Monica Bedi who have been painted in such derogatory ways without any conclusive evidences of crime.
Hansal Mehta not just gives importance to the main characters of the story, but digs deeper into each and every character in the story, thereby creating masterpiece stories.
Coming to the entire cast, never in a moment it felt like I was watching a show.
That's the beauty of acting and that's the beauty of a good direction. Wonderfully connecting the points and the individual storylines together. It's not Karishma Tanna guys, it's everyone from Zeeshan, Harman,Tanmay, her father, uncle and son - everybody has done justice to their roles.
So all in all, I have always loved Hanshal Mehta's form of direction and his portrayal of stories and you can just blindly watch it just because Hansal Mehta is the director. He has his unique ways to create an emotion from cinemas.
