Having only watched the Pilot, I am more than happy to give this show a few more viewings as I am unable to tell if I like it or not.
It was definitely interesting to watch and it kept me watching throughout the whole episode, something other TV shows have failed to do.
The concept is aliens sought out earth to co-inhabit with humans. This show takes place 33 years later in the location of Defiance (previously St Louis).
This show has a mix of different aliens, which I like. Although they don't particularly feel like aliens yet, I look forward to learning more about their different cultures and how they are different to us.
For the people giving this terrible reviews, I urge you to think of other shows that turned out to be huge after bad pilots or even bad first seasons. One show that springs to mind is Buffy - not the best first season but look what the show became! My fave show, Firefly, I hate the pilot with a vengeance, but love the rest of the show.
Lets give it a chance, it may pleasantly surprise us!
