The Bad Guys (2022)
3/10
Uninspired story
4 May 2022
This is a movie cliché. Boring redemption story done multiple times. There is no hidden meaning, the characters don't have an ark, they are bad and with a "wag of the tail" they are suddenly good. I am giving it 3 stars for the animation.

Go watch Batman and Robin
20 April 2022
Honestly, I appreciated Batman and Robin more after watching this movie.

Boring, depressing, sad movie about an Emo beating everyone in his path. I see why Ben Affleck declined doing it.

WB. Why?

A film that deserves better.
21 October 2021
Honestly, this is not a bad movie. Not a ground-breaking one also, but defenetly something that you can enjoy.

The story is good. It is well paced and has a good balance between story and action. I would have liked a bit more development on the villans, but for the last film before Disney got and renamed 20th Century Fox, it did not have time.

If it happens that you read this short review - give this movie a chance. I think the so called critics doomed this movie for no reason.

Days Gone (2019 Video Game)
10/10
Hard not to give it a 10
16 July 2021
No Spoiler ahead, just an opinion of a guy who rarely gives reviews and they are usually aimed to show disappointment and regret for the wasted time.

Not in this case. Days Gone got me hooked and I am still playing it even after I went through the campaign. And that is a big thing for me. Let me explain why:

That usually NEVER happens! I never played GTA Vice City after the end credits, never played... well any other game after the credits rolled. Darn... come to think of it, I never finished any of these open-world type games after Vice City, so what changed?

Days Gone is an amazing game.

Yes - it has great graphics and you can just take pictures and do nothing else, but it is definitely not only the looks, but what is beneath it.

You rarely see such well-thought-out gameplay that does not become repetitive and irritating as you go along. Yes, there is grinding of resources, but it feels more like a means of achieving your goal rather than a chore. Some people might argue that the fuel mechanic is making them crazy, but that is not true. For the 30+ hours that I have on this game, I ran out of fuel 3 times. Fuel is everywhere and you can upgrade your tank, which gives you even more mileage. (If 10 seconds of "refuelling" makes you crazy, then having an electric vehicle that needs around 30-40 min for charging will make you nuts.) For me, it added to the atmosphere of the game. Days Gone does not use jump scares, it does by making you anxious, so having to refill the tank while a horde is right on top of you feels right and well planned by the studio.

Story-wise, Some people say that there is no character development and that the main protagonist is dull and uninspiring. "Don't believe the lies" as a character will say. The story is great and it has a great ending (even with the cliffhanger). I am not going to details as I don't want to spoil it, but it is better than most of the blockbusters in recent years (even before the pandemic.)

Go and grab Days Gone. The PC version is great and works with no issues.

Bad characters are everywhere...
22 May 2021
Just watched this movie, and I started wondering why was it not in the 4:3 aspect ratio... Joking aside Zack forgot how to write Characters in this movie. The daughter was annoying, the love interest was mediocre and the script also was just terrible.

I do not recommend watching it as it is full of inconsistent stuff.
